Gobi Manchurian is easy to make and you seldom go wrong while making it.Generally women who are working and are not that fond of cooking long meals resort to gobi mancurian.Its easy and loved by all specially kids.Gobi Manchhurian requires three chinese sauces which have all ingredients in it so you can’t go wrong with the masalas.I prfer gobi manchurian when I am running short of time .You can make it dry and serve as starter.You can also make it with gravy and serve with friecd rice or plain rice as well.
1 cup Cauliflower which is broken into small florets.
Maida(All purpose flower) amount which can coat cauliflower florets easily.
2 Chopped spring onion
1 Chopped green chilly
2 cloves of garlic(Chopped)
2tsp Soya sauce
2tsp Tomato ketchup
1 tsp Vinegar
2tsp à¤°à¥‡à¤¡ Chilli sauce
Salt to taste
Corn flour 2 tsp
Oil to deep fry Cauliflower(Any)
Half cup water if you want to make it dry else 2cup.
Step1. Take maida in a bowl and add 1tsp Chilli sauce ,salt and pepper in it.
Step2. Add water to make a paste.Paste should neither be too thick or thin. You can make paste thick or thin by adding more maida or water in it.
Step3. Add cauliflower florets in it.
Step 4. Fry the cauliflower florets like Pakora .It takes little more time then pakora to fry cauliflower but make sure it is fried properly.
Step5.Heat 1tbsp of oil in a pan.
Step6. Add chopped spring onion,green chilly ,garlic and saute it.
Step7. Add all the 4 sauces (Tomato ketchup,soya sauce,vinegar,chilly sauce)
Step8.. Add Ajinomoto ,salt , black pepper and let the sauces simmer for 1 min.
Step9. Add water.If you want gravy one then add more water.
Step10. Add Cornflour into it .When the gravy gets thick your Gobi Manchurian is ready to be served.
This gravy recipe can be used in maikng Chilli Paneer as well.When ever you want to make 2 chinese meal.You can make gobi manchurian and chilli paneer.Chilli Paneer can be made by adding paneer cubes.Same gravy can be used to make any manchurian .You just have to change the main ingredient.
