1/2 cup Ghee
2½ cups sugar
Milk 1 cup
Few strands of saffron (optional)
1.Heat half cup ghee and heat it on low flame.
2.Take rawa and roast it up till the color of the suzi turns little Golden brown in color.Make sure the flame is slow that time.
3.Add equal quantity of hot milk in the rawa and mix it up.Add sugar and mix again or 8 to 10 minutes.
4.Add saffron and cardamon powder and stir again.
5.Blanch almond before or you can keep them over night too.cut them into few pieces and mix it into hot halwa.
Some people use hot water instead of milk .That can also be done but adding milk increases the taste of halwa.
