I have used many brands of sunscreen and only because it is mandatory otherwise I detest them.The reason is my acne prone skin doesn’t like sunscreen.Most of the sunscreen make me feel heavy and specially after moisturizing I feel as if some body pour tonnes on oil on me.When you have combination oily or oily skin a little amount of oil irritates you.But the benefits of sunscreen are innumerable and one can not escape it.I am a fan of fab India products and therefore thought of trying this one out too.Fab India has sunscreen in various SPF .There was Fab India sunscreen in SPF 15 also I picked up SPF -30 .
What the product claims:-Fab India Vitamin E sunscreen with SPF 30 is made with effective ingredient that prevents damage from the harmful ultra UV rays.It avoids sunburn and also suppresses tanning.
Key Ingredients-Water, Glycerine, Vitamin E, Allantioin, Titanium Dioxide, Shea butter, Octyl Methoxy, Cinnamate, Octyl Solicylate, Benzophenon3.
Price-Rs 225 for 120ml
What I liked about the product-
1.It is oil based and therefore doesn’t make me feel greasy.It is little heavy but not too much that it will irritate my skin.
2.It has glycerin and vitamin E which ful fills my demand of a moisturizer .When ever I use it I do not need any kind of moisturizer wether I am going out or using it in my home.
3.I always apply sunscreen some 20-30 minutes before going out so that it can be effective.If I am out for long and that too under extreme heat then I re-apply after every hour.Using this sunscreen I have never experienced any sun burn.
4.The price of the product is pretty satisfactory and one tube last for long.
5.It is easy to carry it in my purse.
6.As the sunscreen claims that it suppresses tanning which I do not believe much but if this is an extra benefit which they claim it gives me more reason to buy it.
7.Harsha recommended Fab India vitamin E- sunscreen with SPF-15 for di-pigmentation and therefore I started loving SPF -30 more.You can read the review here.
8.This cream goes well with liquid foundation and stick too.
9.Glides easily in the skin.
10.I like the smell of the cream.It gives a fresh feeling to me but I am not sure wether sensitive nose will prefer it.Though Harsha has quiet a sensitive nose and egg smell or any oil smell gives her head ache and If this worked for her then might work for sensitive nose too.
11.It has shea butter which I really like in my creams because if its innumerable benefits.You can read about shea butter here.
Cons of the product-
1.The product doesn’t mention wether it is suitable for oily skin or any other kind of suncreen.They have not even mentioned wether it is suitable for all type of skin.This was quiet a risk which I took when buying it.
2.Fab India vitamin E Sunscreen with SPF 15 cost Rs 125 where as SPF 30 cost Rs 225.I don’t think so there should be so much of difference just because it has extra number of sunscreen
.It is not a con but it just occured in my mind when I saw SPF 15 price.
Worth a Buy- It is worth a buy especially for those who like to keep their skin moisturized and safe from sun.Those who are always out under the sun may require more SPF .For dry skin people they might need little more extra moisturization and for combination skin it will work well.

i have used it…. its a nice product… bt for people with oily skin the one with spf-15 is more suitable it is very light in nature… by yes the spf depends on how much time u spend outside and should select your sunscreen that ways…… this product is great and i guess will help dry skin people the most…..

Harsha,..SPF 15 will hardly help if we go out side but the light ness of the skin is first priority of mine..i think dry skin people will need moisturizer also .I have oily skin or more so combination oily skin it goes fairly well.But i do not use moisturizer with it.

i hv dry skin. i need a sunscreen bt i dont know if i shud use a sunscreen ao nt. i hv nvr used any. i am 21. few months back i ws havin sm unevn skin tone problm frm thn on m usin medicated facewash nd moisturiser. bt i thnk i need a sunscreen nw. please help ANAMIKA
If you have uneven skin tone then do use a sun sunscreen it does help a lot..u can use lotus sunscreen or fab india both are reasonbally priced and for uneven skin tone you can try any of the remedies mentioned on the website..if u want i will help u out

I have tried so many sunscreens and none really satisfied me
I am tired of not having a sunscreen….it makes my face greasy and dull……think will give it a try….you are not even raving about the product…but would like to try other FAB products definitely……the scrubs and soaps look really interesting…….specially the seabuckthorn…..

frankly none of the commercial moisturizers also suit me
