Did you watched Once upon a time in Mumbai? I completely loved Kangana Ranaut retro style look in the movie.Though the talented actresses didn’t have much role to play but she looked stunning through out.Kangana’s retro look in the movie is some what similar to the look of actresses in 70′s.I loved every thing from her make up, hairstyle and her 70′s style drape saris..
Though to create the look only two things were most important .First her hair do and second the eye liner.If you look at her pic below she has gone minimum with the blush and lipstick too.Only thing which has been emphasized in her eye make up is her eye liner and big false eye lashes.
Today my hands were itching to create this eye liner look.I first applied a pencil eye liner so that I can remove easily the flaws and then applied Shahnaz liquid eyeliner on it.That was the main part rest other things were pretty much simple to do.
Below is the final look which came out like this
Steps to create the retro style look
Step1-Cleansed, toned and moisturized my face.I used Body shop aloe vera toner and Fab India moisturizer.
Step2-Applied MAC foundation, compact and applied loreal concealer under my eyes.
Step3-Applied the same loreal concealer and then baby powder as a primer on my eyes.
Step4-Applied just one light brown eye shadow of maybelline on my eyes and then went ahead with the eyeliner.Curled my eye lashes and used loreal waterproof mascara.
Step5-For the lips used Revlon colorbust lipstick (095)crimson very lightly with the help of the brush.Kangana went lighter then this too.
Step6-Used Body shop 03 blush peach color look.
I also used Maybelline New york vivid and smooth eyeliner to high light my bro bone.Filled my brows with brown eye shadow too.I didn’t used eye lashes .Was not in the mood
That is it.Though looks like lot of work but it isn’t.

I too like retro looks but havent wore them in parties or get together.
Tanz…if u apply it with a pencil and then liquid eye liner it always comes out well..do try it out..u will like it..many times I have two different style of eyeliner on my eyes as i like to play with them so much..my husband make so much of fun of it.
