My finger nails have turned yellow! towards the ends of the nail they have turned a translucent yellow colour, I don’t smoke but I do wear nail polish all the time.Please helpppp!!!!

Aahhh !!!Yesterday only I and Candy were talking about yellow nails problem.Like you I am fond of applying nail polish and suffer from yellow nail problem .I have used few tips which has helped me which you can try too.
1.Use colorbar nail treatment as a base coat.It prevent the nails from getting yellow and make them strong too.
2.Lemon acts as a natural astringent and helps in removing stains.You can soak nails in lemon solution or just rub a piece of lemon on your nails for few minutes.Wash your hand and then apply moisturizer.
3.I have ever heard that scrubbing nails with a common tooth paste helps too in removing the stains.
Do you know any other remedy which can help Lydia?

hey anamika there is a peel off polish from oriflame that takes out the yellowness instantly like magic. i once triied it at a nail salon…sadly dont know the exact name. any oriflame patrons here???????? do u guys know the name of the product???????

Try and use a base coat with nail paints.. It prevents yellowing.. Also try and use nail paint that is free of toulene, DBP & formaldehyde (the big 3) – I have been using Jordana for a year now & never get yellow nails – even if I use a black nail paint without base coat.
