Lakme eye shadow In my last tutorial of how to do smokey eye make up I used Lakme eyeshadow .Few of you asked me to review the Lakme eye shadow Quartet so thought of doing it today.I always review my eye shadows after doing 2-3 makeup tutorials so that readers can decide which one will be best for them to buy.
I know Indian girls are not much into eye makeup but thankfully trend is building up now so too offer the readers best deal I try my best to make use of the product as much as possible and then review them up.
When I got this Lakme eye shadow Quartet Moondust it was around Rs 350 but as now Lakme has introduced their Gypsy collection with has similar eye pallets in different shades of Rs 425 I think this one price must have increased too.

What motivated me to buy this product was the price and the cute smokey eye shadows which it has….White, black , silver and one color whose name is still unknown to me but kind a cutee..Ohh gosh !!! I was like realllly happy

1.If you look at my tutorial the black color is quiet dense so I have used it in my smokey eye make up and it has worked fine with me.
2. I don’t like the white highlighter much but it blends easily .If you have quiet dark complexion then it might not look good on you and it may appear to you little chalky but those with fair or medium tone it might work well.
3.Silver is ok to use to if you are fond of it.I haven’t used the silver much.
4.I didn’t like the last color at all.It never suited my eyes.I some time use it to fill my eye brows and it works pretty fine.
5.Price of the product is pretty satisfactory.
My dislike
1.It doesn’t have much staying power.When I did my smokey eye make up I pressed the black eye shadow 2-3 times so that on my eye lids so that it stays for long.
2.If it is too humid then it might give you patches too.
3.If you don’t prime your eyes properly it wont even stay for an hour.
4 White high lighter may not suit many
Worth a buy - At this price you can buy it for experimenting but if you are a make up junkie I don’t think so it will impress you much.
Will I re purchase other quartet of Lakme- Yes, I would like to give them a try because i think Lakme might have improved their eye shadows quality in their new Gypsy collection.

Those shadows look surprisingly pigmented…plus i like the act theyv put a silver and brown with the black as well..some interesting smokey eyes can be made using these..
Yup..silver smoky eyes…..would be great tooo and this brown burgandy type color os cute ..but the over all effect is not that great..

i tried this once.. and like you said it doesn't stay too long… so i decide never to try it again…
besides this stuff doesn't look to great on my chinky face LOL!!
