Blush Review – Color bar Just earth blush review, price , swatches and photos

Anamika’s love for Colorbar blushesinspired me to own one.Me being a matte person stopped my search at Colorbar’s Just Earth blush which is a peachy brown color and non glittery and I’m happy happy with this

Colorbar blush-Just Earth!!!

Colorbar Just earth blush ingredients

Talc, Aluminium starch, octenylsuccinate, Nylon 6, Isostearyl, Neopentandate  Polybutene, Cyclohexasiloxane, Butyl Stearate, Ethyhexyl, Methoxycinnmate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cyclopentasiloxane, , Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben,

Price of colorbar just earth blush is  Rs. 250 for 6gm of the pressed powder. Blush and brush

My Experience with it: I got the Just earth shade which gives a light brown color on application. This being matte blush is suitable for office/formal look when you can’t do glittery makeup. Although it comes with a brush which is very soft still I use my vega blush brush as I don’t like small brush for blushers but, while traveling the provided brush too will serve the purpose. A mirror is provided in its 2nd compartment.

Colorbar just earth Swatches

Swatch with the brush provided                                  After blending the swatch

Pros: Silky soft texture, doesn’t cause breakouts.
: Decently priced, available in many shades- pinks, browns & gold.
: Gives natural glow without dryness even in winters.
: Transparent packaging helps you find colors easily.
        : Lasts very long.
: Comes with a mirror and brush.

Cons: Staying power is 2-3hrs (for it to stay long you have to apply cream blush or cheek
           stain underneath colorbar blush)
: Provided brush can’t blend the color very well.
: Just earth is matte, so if you are expecting little shine it will disappoint you.
Other than this I really don’t find any problem using it.
Will I repurchase it : for sure. I love using them. It would have been better if they had cream blushes too for long lasting power.

  3. I like matt blushes…will definitely try this…Blush is the only item in makeup that i dont feel very comfortable using…cos i dont know how to apply…..this one's economical for starters na….thanks Anu…

  4. Btw…does this breakout??

  5. Same here Mitra. I actually dont have a single blush since I'm not sure how to apply them and have been debating whether I should get a blush and a brush to go along with it. Ive been eyeing the Body Shop travel brush set and some blushes from MAC.

bhumika i have both and i found tat for a beginner colorbar one was easy to use because lakme one needs little more practice as it three blush in one but yaa i love it toAngel

it depends on the person choice wether it should be visible or not..when i started using it i would make usre that it was not visible but now i get the idea that it should be visible or not..if i have done heavy eye make up then i make sure that it is not much visible..rest all is practice.

    wats plan for sunday?

  13. Oh…thank god i'm not the only one….and i guess for starters WE should first get something in the range of Lakme/colourbar/maybelline blushes….body-shop and MAC can wait till we know it properly if not master it…..what say Anu….

  14. i will suggest colorbar as i started with themSmile
