Lush Godiva – Only reason why I bought Lush Godiva bar was boredom. I am was bored of using shampoo so thought of picking up bars this time
Why Godiva? – Sexy, jasmine-scented, two-in-one Shampoo (and conditioner) Bar. Godiva is named after the woman who famously rode through the streets of Coventry with only her long flowing locks to cover her modesty. She was protesting against the taxes which her husband was planning to introduce. Godiva has the same sensual, jasmine scent as Flying Fox and it makes your hair soft. No need to protest if you want to get your husband to change his mind; just wash your hair with this.(From Website)

How I used it – Wet hair and bar and rub it between the palms to create lather.Massage it on your scalp to create more lather .Rinse the hair and store it away from water where it can dry.
Experience – My hair are dry and all I want them is too look manageable.I have used many other shampoo bars also which have done good job but sadly this one didn’t.I previously had good experience with some of the Lush soaps and they do work well so when SA recommended the soap to me I trusted her.
After using it for few days I realized thatit takes little time to lather and contains small chucks of real shea butter which is the main ingredient of the shampoo which keeps the hair moisturized .I don’t know whether it was because of this shea butter or what but it was very difficult for me to hold this soap.
It has some dried jasmine flowers in it which which use to spread around my bathroom while using the soap and on top of this it has real strong jasmine smell which stayed for hours and hours on me.
I didn’t experience any change in my hair infact my dry hair got more dull and dry. I stopped using it after 3-4 washes and found an interesting way to finish it up..I broke it down with a knife and wrapped the pieces of the soap in a tissue paper and kept in the bathroom again. It acted as a bathroom freshener and worked pretty fine .Also, bar melts like anything and won’t last more than two weeks
Will I recommend it to others -I am never going to suggest this any one no matter even if I am given this free by Lush .
