By Zara, NYX Lip gloss – NYX Round lip gloss swatches
I hoard blushes and lipsticks and when Rashmi happened to review this brush-on gloss a while back, I fell in love with it and vowed to get some as well. So Thanks Rash for introducing me to this range!
So while surfing Ebay, I stumbled upon this set of 3 glosses for 859 bucks and snapped it up without a second thought.
What does Nyx claim about this range of glosses:
NYX’s Brush on Gloss gives maximum shine on your lip. The brush wand will workmagic with all these stunning colors.

All the shades have different finishes and there is such a huge range of shades that one would definitely find the one for them.
I have the shades: (L-R) Lilic Field, Fusion and Cosmopolitan
All these glosses come in super long tubes..and as clearly visible from the above pics, the wand handle is much much longer than the actual body of the product..hehe..I don’t really get why that is, but perhaps its just to lend an element of fun to these glosses.
The application brush is not the usual doe-foot or heart shaped applicator..Its a simple brush type with soft but stiff bristles for accurate application. Now let’s check out the shades in detail.
NYX Lip gloss Shade: Lilic Field
This is a light baby pink lip gloss shade in a matte finish. The color would show up as translucent or very mildly opaque depending on your lips and how pigmented they are. It gives very light coverage
My experience with Lilic Field:
I like using this shade because its close to the actual color of my lips and yet covers up any imperfections and pigmentation which I have at the corners of my lips. The baby pink shade is super cute and would suit most girls.

NYX Lip gloss Shade: Fusion
This is a deep purple fuchsia shade. When I saw the tube, I thought it was purple, but when I opened and swatched it, I realised the dark pink tone to it.
This is an opaque shade and can be used as a lipstick as well. It is a full coverage shade with a glossy finish.
My experience with Fusion lip gloss
This is undoubtedly my favorite of all 3 glosses. Its highly pigmented and is a vivid, bold color. Just wearing this makes me feel super confident and gives my face a nice glow…dunno why..but I love it! But I would not suggest wearing this on top of any lipstick, this gloss is so pigmented that it would dominate the lips, not letting the lippy be visible.

NYX Brush on gloss Shade: Cosmopolitan
Cosmopolitan is a pearl pink shade with a satin finish and medium coverage. It spreads very easily and covers any pigmentation on the lips.
My experience with nyx Cosmopolitan lip gloss shade
I like this shade a lot basically because of the satin finish it has. It literally resembles the color of Pink pearls and I love the pigmentation. Can be applied as a top coat as well as on its own.

What I like about NYX Brush On Gloss
- Moisturizing effect and doesn’t dry out my lips
- A variety of shades are available so one would definitely be able to find shades which suit them.
- Have a variety of finishes as well, matte, glossy, shimmery, satin finish..You name it, Nyx has it!
- Shades with different levels of coverage available
- Application brush is fantastic. The bristles are soft and firm just as they should be.
What I do not like NYX Brush on gloss
- Staying power could have been better
- Availability is an issue
- Some of the shades cannot be worn without a liner.
- Will I buy it again: Yess! I would love to try out the rest of the shades.
- Rating: 4.5/5 ( – .5 for the staying power)

Alotta glosses dont have a long staying power..but i love reapplying..

I dont have any of the round lip glosses…yet
i only have their megashine…Both r kinda diff..I always feel like the megashines r alot more opaque and like lipsticks in themselves..These r actual glosses..and they have loads of pwetty shades..

when u will get into eye shadows then u will love them too
Hehe..I have loads of eye shadow..revlon, coastal scents palettes..but 2 probs..i hardly have too many occasions to wear them and also m not very gud at applying them on me..so i feel very conscious..i just do makeup for other friends…
i love dolling them up..

Well, like all the other NYX products they wud cost more here in India iguess, but honestly, I have yet to come across this range in India. Dunno whether its there in other areas, but I haven’t seen these in Pune..

But i beg n beg n beg for cash…and Poppa is a real sweetheart..he used gimme the cash and leme buy anything..and after i showed him wot i got, he used to laugh and imme a lecture on saving money and not to waste money on useless things 
…That’s there till now..I keep showing him my updated makeup stuff whenever he comes and he laughs his top off..and then he’ll be silent for 20mins or so and then lecture time..but its fun nonetheless..

Yeps Doc..Rose and tea rose r 2 diff lipsticks..Rose is a brighter pink where as tea rose is a brownish peach…

Yes, Nyx is available in India in alotta cities..As A mentioned a few days earlier, they even opened up in Hyd
But in my city, they don’t carry all the ranges..a very limited collection 
The shades are so lovely!! great haul!! I did not now NYX would be so cheap in India!!

I have just used the maybelline colorsensational and Lakme ones Zara. And you must have guessed by now that I love the colorsensational range

Is highly moisturising for lips. If you actually browse through, some ppl will say they even use it on ramps for highlighting.
I love the raspberry sorbet sahde that Anamika sent me. Pretty pink it is. I also own plum tastic but it is kinda dark. I mean all plums are supposed to be dark. And I ve heard sugared honey and time for wine are good. You should try one. They are cheap and good
