Now when I am in south India I should atleast post one dosa recipe .What say you??Dosa making is a long process and that is why I generally make them once or twice in a month.Best part of making dosa is that one can experiment with them in no. of ways.So this time I tried egg dosa whose recipe was given to me by my sweet south Indian neighbor.
It doesn’t take much of your time when making this so lets get started.
Dosa batter – (I used the ready made one ..i told you i am lazy )
Salt and black pepper
(If you want to make the batter at home then soak rice(3 cups) and urad dal (1 cup) over night.Grind them in morning add salt and then wait again for 3-4 hours)
To make the dosa.Spread the dosa batter on hot griddle and then crack an egg on it.Add some salt and black pepper on the dosa again and flip it.You can use any regular oil which you use for making dosa.Egg dosa is ready.

For Onion and tomato chutney (Recipe)
You can make any chutney of your choice I prefer this one as tomato and onion are mostly available at my place
3 small onions.
3 small tomatoes
Red chillies 5-6 (it is hot !!!!)
5-6 cloves of garlic
3-4 curry leaves
oil (I used gingerly)
Method and Preparation :-
Step1 – Fry onion , red chilli and garlic in oil.Cook them on low flame.
Step2- Add chopped tomatoes and salt and cook them till they are soft
Step3 – When the mixture get cool grind them in a mixer grinder.(There was a power shut down while grinding the chutney so it is not well grinded.)
Step4- Take a pan again and add some oil , mustard seeds and curry leaves and the grinded tomato onion paste.
We are done
Dosa taste way different than the usual one something which North Indian are going to love
