I have recently shared swatches of many loose pigments from Faces so thought of doing an eye makeup today. Playing with pigments is not that difficult and with little practice one can get the desired look.
I did this golden eye makeup look using four eye shadows .
I used shades from Sunbeam stacks , you can see the swatches of the stacks here . I have numbered the shades in the order of the shades used.
To start with the tutorial
Step 1– I primed my eyes with Urban decay primer potion which creases like anything and now I think using homemade primer is much more convenient method.
Step 1 – Applied deep rich bronzer shade(shade1) on the middle of the eyelid leaving 1/4th space on the inner as well as outer corner.
Step 2 – Applied copper red on the outer corner and gave it a “V” shape and blended both the colours.
Step3 – Applied dark vanilla colour on the inner corner(shade 3)
Step4 – Applied light vanilla golden colour from crease to the brow bone and blended the colours. Applied faces eyeliner turquoise blue on the water line.I applied thick sharp eyeliner to give a bridal effect to the look but one can tone it down with gel eyeliner or by applying thin line of liquid eyeliner.Curled my eyelashes and applied colorbar mascara and filled my brows with body shop brow bone kit.
