What I like about Bourjois Khol and Contour eye pencil in Bronze Raffine
- The formula is super smooth and glides on effortlessly without tugging the eye lids. It spreads evenly and the glitter particles are not too chunky.
- The claim of intense color in just 1 stroke is oh-so-true. I don’t need to rub it on again and again to get the right color. Just one stroke is enough.
- The shade I have- Bronze Raffine is a very gorgeous dark brownish-blackish metallic shade. It has slight undertones of olive and khaki colors. It looks amazing when used in a smoky eye look. The golden shimmer particles add depth to any look.
- It is in pencil form with wooden body that can be easily sharpened. Very hygienic and convenient.
- The color of the outer casing of the pencil corresponds with the shade of the eye pencil. Easy to locate which color it is.
- The Price is great!

It smudge crazily 
What I do not like about Bourjois Khol and Counter eye pencil
- Smudges like crazy! As a proof, check out the before and after pictures. For the after picture(shown above), I swiped the swatch with my finger just once.I don’t usually use a primer as a base when I apply only eye pencil on my eyes. Without a primer this starts to smudge within 3-4 hours of application. I was very disappointed with its staying-power especially because it claims up to 16 hours of hold.
- With smudging, the color also starts to fade away and only the golden shimmer particles remain. Looks like a mess after that.
- Creased a lot when I used it as an eye shadow for a smokey eye look. Wouldn’t exactly call this a con because it doesn’t claim to be an eyeshadow too. I was just hoping I could use this as an eyeshadow since it doesn’t work as an eye pencil for me.
- The color doesn’t show well on my eyes. That might be because of my dark circles, so I wouldn’t exactly call it a con. The color might look gorgeous on people with clearer eyes.
This is how it looks on my eyes 
- Do I regret this purchase: Not at all. Even though I haven’t yet found a way to make this work for me, I am so in love with the sexy shade that I do not regret possessing this at all.
- Will I purchase it again: No. Even though the color is gorgeous, I would be looking into some other brands for a smudge-proof formula.

Lol…I am so surprised that you like it…I actually made this color by mixing two colors that I never used…one was a horrendous electric blue which was too blue for my warm-toned skin and the other was a pink that I got bored of….I am still not 100% happy with this color though…it didn’t turn out the way I imagined it would.
But I am so happy you guys liked it!!!

I do all my makeup and fashion hauling when I go to some metro for my internships every 4 months. I will surely check out all the shades then!

Raipur..its the capital of chhattisgarh…in central India…I am not sure if you have ever heard of it though…its a really small city…here we just get regular brands like lakme maybelline revlon loreal lotus..thats it!

Aww.. its bad it dint work for u…but i luv these like crazy..i have about 5-6 of them and they last so long…i apply at 7.15am and when i come home at 7.30pm its still there on my lids..without smudging…
ive never used this on the waterline tho…it may smudge there..
Lucky you Zara…I think we have totally opposite experiences with eye pencils….because this bourjois one smudges on me whereas it stays on you for hours and the maybelline colossal kajal smudges on you, whereas it has become my HG kajal due to its staying-power…this is funny!

You can use it on your lash line and just smudge it for that subtle smokey look na…the colour is so beautiful i wouldnt have the heart to use it as eye shadow base
its super pretty…even i smudge it and use it…all the shades r pretty..they hav a violet shade which looks so gorgeous after smudging..to die for!

no swati…..m not an eye pencil girl…….but after seeing so many eye pencils here i think i shud giv it a try
I have this one & a couple of variants from this range. The colors are gorgeous but it smudges like crazy on me too, it lasts a good 6-7 hours but keeps smudging as the hours fly by.
Having said that, this is a kohl pencil & all kohl pencils tend to smudge to varying degrees on people, so one can’t really fault Bourjois.. even Mac kohl pencils smudge.

True..and i do like these liners alot..they dont smudge on me and i shades they hav r also really nice..
u r right..which kohl pencil doesn’t smudge after all they are applied on the waterline.
6-7 hours sounds good to me….If only it could last that long on me, I would have been going gaga over these!!!

Oh Zara…you’ve no idea how CRAZY I am about the maybelline kajal….I am onto my second pencil and I always keep 2 as backup in case they decide to discontinue it…I would die if I had to live without these…I must sound so crazy to you right now….
