I’m reviewing 2 of my favorite eye pencils here. I’ve used them on my Didi here in pics. The pencils are something that can be used everyday as an eyeliner and a bolder line or eye shadow in the evenings. I hope you like them
Diana Of London – Shooting star Eyeliner – Super Star 03
I have always loved this brand. I have used a compact, eye pencils, lip liners and lip gloss from the brand and have loved it all!
Shooting Star is a 1.2 gms pencil, I bought it long back so can’t remember the price.
This is a lovely deep Emerald green with a bit of silver glitter, which I think wasn’t really necessary coz the colour itself has sheen to it. The color should look good on almost all skin tones, though I feel its better on wheatish to dark tones, where it merges nicely with the skin, making eyes look mysterious and attractive.
Its smooth and soft to apply. You can draw a line very easily on the eyelid without dragging. Can be smudged as soon as you draw a line. It can be a nice base for smoky eye look. Can even be used as an eye shadow as it is.
Its Dermatologically tested and not meant to be applied inside the eyes.
It stays for a long time on eyes, only towards the end of the day it looks slightly faded, it could be because of my oily skin and may not happen with others. Its water proof and stays on even after washing face with water. This needs to be removed with Vaseline or oil.
I love the colour, intensity and texture. I’ll buy other colors in this, there are some 10 colours in total.
Swatches of Diana Of London Shooting Star Eyeliner & Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil Blue Remix
This is how Diana of london shooting star eyeliner looks on my eyes
and this is the bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil -Blue Remix looks on my eyes which I am going to review ahead.
Bourjois – Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil -Blue Remix
Rs. 335 for 1.2 gms
Its an intense Blue with a luster. A perfect Blue for wheatish skin I guess, but it’ll look good on all skin tones. The texture is ultra smooth, it just glides on the eyelid. You can smudge it immediately after applying but after a few seconds it sets so well, no matter what you do it won’t smudge. This can be used as an eye liner and eye shadow.
This is supposed to be ophthalmologically tested, but I donno if that means it can be used on the waterline. I avoid anything other than Kajal on my waterline, so can’t comment on how it stays there.
Even at the end of the day the color looks fresh and bright. You can remove it either with Vaseline or coconut oil.Its so bright that you don’t need to do much to the face to add colour when using this. Use this with just a kajal and lip balm or gloss and you are ready to take on the world!
I will definitely buy it again and again!
