This is my first product review on Wise She 
I will be reviewing E.L.F. clarifying pressed powder. This is a compact powder good for touch ups during the day. It comes in a small pack, the size of a marie biscuit 
. I got a shade called light beige.
ELF claims the following about this compact:
“Create a flawless finish with the silky powder that blends evenly into skin. Treat and prevent skin imperfections with key active ingredients formulated for problematic skin. Proven skin clarifiers absorb oil on contact to create a beautiful matte finish.”
Ingredients as listed on the back are:
Talc, Mica, Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide, Paraffinium Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Cyclomethicone, Zinc Stearate, Petrolatum, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance(Aroma), Iron Oxides (CI 77491 , CI 77492 , CI 77499), Red No.27 Lake (CI 45410), Red No.7 Lake (CI 15850), Yellow No.5 Lake (CI 19140), Blue No.1 Lake (CI 42090), Ultramarines (CI 77007)
There is a small puff in the packaging which fits well inside the case.
My experience with E.L.F. clarifying pressed powder.
The powder gives good coverage with the puff. I also tried using it with an all over face brush but did not achieve the same look as with the puff. Coverage is better with the supplied puff.
I have acne scars so I applied it over my foundation. I have tried this on top of moisturizer as well but it gives me longer results when applied on foundation. I think people with clear skin can use it on top of moisturizer for an even skin tone with no shine. The staying power on my super oily skin is about five hours.
This did not break me out but did not do anything to improve my skin either. I have large pores and I feel this does nothing to help hide the pores.
Price – The price is ONLY 1$ (yes only Rs 46) and for that price this is a must have item in your kitty

What I don’t like about E.L.F. clarifying pressed powder.
- Parabens in the ingredients
- No help in hiding large pores

exactly….and ELF is definitely a gud brand…they do have both hits n misses..but i dont think anyone wud mind coz it doesnt burn too large a hole in the pocket..i’ve always wanted to get their contouring duo..
oh yes the famous contouring duo..which is yur fav contouring product zara??
i religiously use Smashbox wala contouring…i learnt contouring from that infact..it has all 3 shades and an instructional pic in it too…its there on ebay also…i luv it!
I also have some really cool eye pencils from ELF, will try and review them soon.

i have never tried smashbox wala contouring how much does it cost??
i got it for 650or 690 about 5mts back…its there now also on ebay…just type in smashbox contouring and ul get it…sooo many options r there…there is a contouring duo also but i liked the trio coz its like an all in one…contour wala shade, blush and highlighter….infact m wearing that tday

its also available in alotta H&G outlets…also if u have any cosmetics only stores in ur cuty they shud also have it..but ofcourse they dont carry the entire line…especially the studio line of ELF hasnt entered india at all…baaki alotta stuff is available here..
yaa i wonder why such brands do not find a place in India..so many brands are selling such expensive stuff then why not ELF and NYX enter into the market
true..i guess nyx has started but alot of girls who know how cheap it is abroad prefer to buy online or thru relatives who r there..
ELF has a gud chance..infact in blore when I was there, they had alotta stuff…glosses, the e/s quads..but they dint expand..
hmm this is because of unawareness.people have no idea that these products exist.
yes…but gals shud try them out..i dunno whether its fear of the unknown but ELF e/s kits r sooo gud t start with..in pune the halat is even worse..can u imagine in my usual store, they have elf nail polish remover pads and manicure sets…but no cosmetics from them…can u beat that?!?!?!

NYX unfortunately dosent always have wat i wanted..till i got hooked on to the chambor and MAC concealers i was pretty desperate for their pot concealers..though i finally found a store that sold NYX, the concealers were never in stock..i was looking for the orange one actually..but having said that me very happy with my MAC concealer..the garnier ones are also nice

i like ELF too. I bought their lipglosses recently..paid $3.99 for 5 of them..less than $1 each..and the colors were quite nice too. missed buying the compact though
even if i didnt need it, for $1 it wud have been a steal

i love them too Zara..nice peachy colors and even their mauve is so subtle thats its perfect for office or even on a darker shade of lipstick..

i was checking ELF products on ebay..gosh, they r so expensive..
yeps..its pointless buying ELF online..infact buying most drugstore products on ebay is not worth it coz along with shipping charges it comes to too much…once in a while u do get awesome deals tho..
My husband got this from US – available at Target stores.
They don’t ship to India yet.
