I created this smokey eye makeup look while testing Sleek curaco eyeshadow palette which I am yet to review. This palette has various bright matte and shimmery eye shadows and I am using four eyeshadow from this. When I have whole eyeshadow palette in front of me I get tempted to try as many shades as possible otherwise I limit myself to few eyeshadow in most of my eye makeup tutorial to keep it simple.
Lets start with the tutorial now
I primed my eyes with Urban decay primer potion .You can use home made eye primer or just apply foundation and dab some loose powder over it.Now I applied blue lagoon shade on the eyelids. Its a pigmented shade and can be easily built up too.It is always better to start with small and add on rather than dealing with overburdened eye shadow your lids.
Starting from the corner I applied purple haze eyeshadow and pull the colour to the middle of the eye lid. When I added purple to the blue it helped me in establishing some sort of shape to my eyes.I didn’t do the blending here as I am going to add more colours ahead.
Now add empresso martini shade(black eyeshadow) in the crease .I applied black eyeshadow on the outer edge of the base this keeps me in the same line .Blend the black eyeshadow a bit.
Now I added green martini eyeshadow above the carbon which is a shimmery deep olive green colour. Be carefull while blending the green otherwise you might end up having the green till your brow bone. Now finished off the look by applying highlighter from the palette which is a shimmery whitish beige.I applied the highlighter where the green ended till the brow bone.
and I am done!
