Avril Lavigne Inspired Makeup Tutorial :-
Today its Avril on my list I wanted to do a rock chic kind look, and found this image of her :-
As I just found the cropped image of her’s , I have no idea what the rest of the face looked like so anyways, she’s wearing a lot of drama, lots of intense look with a bright metallic blue eyeshadows and lots of black on the outer area.
So lets start the tutorial
Step 1 :-
I started off with applying a li’l concealer and blended it well. Then I used a blue eyeliner stick, rubbed it on the tip of my finger and blended it on the eye lid starting from the inner corner (you can see the inspirational pic, she has lots of blue only on the inner corner) . After that I used a metallic blue eye shadow , picked some on a flat shading brush (because using this brush will pack the e/s onto the lid without making much of mess ) and likewise, whatever was left on the same brush, just use it on the lower lash line starting from the inner corner.
Step 2 :-
Using the same brush (you can of course make use of any other brush) I applied a thick coat of gel eyeliner starting from the outer area and bringing it in, also used it on the lower lash line. Then I started pulling it in and feathered it so that it doesn’t looks streaky, this doesn’t has to be super neat. Then I used a fluffy brush and used some matte black eye shadow on top of the gel eyeliner and blended it (note, the blending and all for this particular look is not needed until and unless you want it to look neat , because the pic demands a very untreated edgy rock style look, so never mind if you mess & don’t blend )
Finished off with lots of mascara to get the crumpled look, lined my eyes with a very black i-liner and of course skipped wearing lenses for this particular tuto’
Note:- In step 2, I used black gel liner and black eye shadow on top of it to get that very dark jet black look, if you have MAC Carbon or something very dark black like it then you don’t need to use gel eye liner.
- L’oreal True Match concealer
- Jordana EasyLiner for Eyes (Sterling Blue)
- Metallic blue eye shadow from 88 palette
- Maybelline gel eyeliner (black)
- Chambor Loose Kohl Powder (black)
- Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara
After you’re done with the look, just pop-in a tiny-miny drop of concealer on your brow bone for that natural look highlighting
Love you Guys ! Godbless !
