Hi All,
I picked this up about 3mths earlier. I was out of my usual night cream and happened to come across this when on offer in the Oriflame catalogue. I saw the words mentioned Matte Touch and Gel Cream in the same line and blindly ordered it..hehe..
Now since it’s almost over I tought it’s the right time to review it for you gals.
What does Product Claim:
For perfectly matte, fresh-looking skin without shiny areas. Optimals Matte Touch™ Formula with Equalising Complex neutralises imperfections on your skin, leaving it purified and balanced. Dry areas are left moisturised and smooth

Packaging – This comes in a thick glass tub. Its a transparent jar with a green screw top. The entire jar comes boxed as well. I would have preferred a tube packaging for 2 reasons, 1 being that it would have been a lot more hygenic and also coz it would have been easier to carry around since this ia kinda fragile and heavy too.
Texture – The cream unexpectedly, is an off-white color. I had anticipated a transparent gel, but my mind omitted the ‘GEL-CREAM’ part of things 
The Cream is not too thick and is very very light like a souffle in fact. Its extremely moisturizing and one doesn’t need too much for a single use. But yes, I have yet to figure out what the ‘Matte Touch’ meant…Any ideas?
Fragrance – This cream has a lovely Melon fragrance and is soooooo pleasant to the senses. I had never thought of Melon scent as being therapeutic, but girls, this is really really lovely. The scent makes me think of fresh fruits and is super relaxing.
Usage – I just scoop out a tiny bit, probably half of the amount shown above and spread onto the skin.
My Verdict:
The first time I used this, I guess I used too much and my face looked like a oil factory even after the required amount was absorbed. So yes, it did take me a couple of days to understand the right amount to be used. Its supremely moisturizing and gr8 for those with dry to normal skin. I have combination skin with an oily T-Zone and this still works well for me. When I eet up in the morning, I feel fresh and my skin feels moisturized and awake without any morning puffiness which otherwise accompanies it. So its a huge plus for me
What I liked about Oriflame Optimals Matte Touch Night Gel-Cream:
- I find it quite effective for my face. It would suit those with dry to normal skin
- The fragrance is heavenly and really relaxing to the senses.
- Gets rid of the morning puffiness that suffuses my face when I get up.
- Lasts a long time since a very tiny quantity is needed for a single use.
What I did not like about Oriflame Optimals Matte Touch Night Gel-Cream:
- Contains parabens.
- A bit pricey

i guess i cant use it in summers then. my skin becomes oil factory then. i” use it in september may be . you know jab temperrature lkam ho
same here..i actually bought this in summers..but i used it at night only and that too just a tiny bit…it helped solve my morning puffiness prob..
but yes in winters its a must for sure..
Zee any idea about its anti aging properties??
A, i dont think it has any specific anti-ageing funda…but i believe that if it moisturizes the skin so well and removes puffiness and all it should help to a certain extent. But wrt tightening the skin and all, I dont think this helps at all..

which night cream d u use as of now?
thank you zara. Better if in Hyd. i use Loreal revitalift night. Sometimes its Nomarks. I like it . helps the spots removal. More than that it helps with my tan removal overnight

i really wanted to get this…but since it isnt on offer this month, i bought ponds re-brightening night cream. I’m in LOVE with it! Its the best ever night cream for oily skin

Hi sweety, ur mother can use Diamond celular Muti-perfection eye cream in Orifame. It is really excellent product. It reduces dark circles It reduces dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles. Ur mother can try that. It is a very good product. Even my mother used this. Really I feel lot of change.
hey zara, am planning to buy this product.. i can understand dat it leads to a soft n soothing skin in the morning. But what about fairness? is it whitening the skin to little bit alteast?
