Hello Ladies..I am back with yet another review..this time it is a foundation from Mary kay!Since the FAQ’s method got popular..I thought why not one more!..
As usual…
Q1 Mary kay..?hmm..foreign brand..whats the price?
A Approx 600 Indian Rupess…but we always have our beloved ebay!
Q2 Before I jump into asking questions..I want to see the product.
A Here we go..
Q3 Why do you have 4 four tubes?are you selling them?(he he he)
A No Girls..I bought them in a lot..I had 7 shades totally..I gifted 3 shades to my friends..and yes I am not selling these!
Q4.what about the coverage of the foundation?
A As the name suggests the coverage is medium.look below for a better understanding..as pictures speak more than words..
In the first pic ..I have dotted my hands with a pen..now quickly imagine (atleast try) that these are small imperfections on you face.

Q5.why do you own four tubes?(I know this must be ringing in most of you heads)
A I can find an exact match to my MAC NC37 skintone in this lot.so I have to mix and match these.
Q6. Does that mean I too have to buy more than 1 shades?
A Na…I just bought them in lot so I mix match them..otherwise the closest match(80% match) to my skin tone would be beige400..probably the exact match would have been beige402 which I dint have in the lot!
Q7 can u swatch the shades for me?
A Y not…

Q 8 How about the staying power ?I mean in Indian Coditions
A The Foundation stays put on atleast for 4 hrs without AC and upto 8 hrs with AC.
Q9 Ok this is a secrect question..bring you ear near.. ..Can I wear it to my gym?is it sweat proof?
A…Ahhhh…no girls..go bare faces!This is sweat proof to certain extent but cannot withstand sweat rain!
Q10 Did it break you out?I break out even If I look at a foundation!
A no…never.
Q11 I have MAC foundations..Should I buy Mary kay?
A According to me MAC is the best..But there may be times where you just have to go to supermarkets or do a little shopping..or even visit your neighbor..(he he he)..you could always use this one!
Q12 How would you rate it against MAC studio fix?
A If Mac scored a 10 on 10 Mary kay would score 7.5 on 10
Q13 I have an oily skin..and my face produces more oil than the UAE.(LOL).can I still use it?
A Perfectly..it balances oil very well..just finish it with your Fav finishing powder..and there u go..fresh .and for those with dry skin..moisturizing is a must..or you will end up looking Sahara dessert!
Q14 I want to look good even on CCTV cameras(LOL)..is the foundation photogenic?
A It does leave a white cast in photos..atleast for me it does!..so please don’t scare the CAMERA.
Q15 Does it oxidize after a while and make me look like A Red Indian?
A No …u will still look like yourself
Q16 Give me a few good points about the foundation which will motivate me in buying it
- Staying power
- Oil balancing
- Coverage
- Loads of shades to choose from
- Mid price..affordable
- Packaging..easy and convinient
Q17 What are the points that would make me participate in Marathon?(I basically mean run away from the product)
- A Dry skinned people might need a good moisturizer underneath
- Not for people who like sheer natural coverage or who require full coverage
- You might look like a zombie in photos..like I did…
- Availability in India
- As usual ..the ingredienst list is not on tube(I am not sure if it is printed on the box as I dint receive them in boxes)
- No spf..well most foundations don’t have them!and even if they would …it would be only spf 6-15..where even a match stick would Tan you!
Would you recommend buying it..Yes Indeed..
Would you repurchase..no…
Y?does this also last a life time like MAC #187 brush?
No girls.. I always love to try new stuffs..The only foundations that I repurchase are from MAC!
If you are beginning to think If I worked for MAC…no girls..I don’t..But the brand is my Hamsafar..

i use clinique or lancome 
why does tht oxadized ?
noopies..it makes me oily even d studio fix fluid one makes my skin oily after few hours but wid clinique or lancome i dont face tht problem.. i need to find a gud everyday foundation. if i keep using dese 2 daily i will be bankrupt soon
Tulips you can try Kryolan I guess..
there are representatives for marykay in india.. like avon.. i got an eyeshadow and a blush brush from this brand and i love them!!

i like using TMs for daily use and Lotus ka oil-free wala foundation for medium coverage…for full coverage (which i use very rarely) i like l’oreal true match
I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about true match…but it oxidised on my face..!hmm so dint buy it
oh! that sbad then..i hate the ones which oxidise …makes me luk like crap…but i wana try l’oreal morphose and bourjois healthy mix also and check them out..

Mac studio tech feel a little heavy on me…but it lasts on my face till i clean it out!i like it for parties..but have to add a luminizer as i have a dry skin.
Me too use Mac studio tec only for functions or parties..it is heavy gives awesome coverage. Everyday I use TBS pressed face powder for office..and casual outings I use the TBS all in one base.

I am waiting to try Kryolan TV paint stick..i have heard a lot of good things about it..In chennai we have a kryolan makeup academy..but it is all rainy here..so waiting..

i always get side tracked by the lippies…and even they cost so much so in the end lippies get priority and foundation gets shoved inthe background

i dunno wot my mac shade is either! the funda is too hi-fi for me pea brain!
you can always get samples from them Zee…so it is worth trying.
