I have always liked peel off masks because they are so exciting to use..I always envisage my crappy skin and then using a peel off mask and then after peeling Voila! I’d see fabulous new skin! 
Whenever I see peel off masks, I always remember the Everyuth orange peel off masks which were the first of its kind to enter Indian markets. Incidentally it was the same time the Mission Impossible series was released and I recall using this mask and while removing it, I’d pretend I was one of the agents unmasking their disguise! Hehe…Funny and kiddish I know, but great memories nonetheless

About Oriflame Optimals White Peel Off Mask
- Packaging – As visible the product comes in tube form with a flip top. Its pretty sturdy and travel friendly as well. The tube packaging ensures hygiene is maintained as well.
- Texture & Color– This peel has a thick texture and is totally transparent without a hint of any color. Its not too thick so spreading it on the face is not a problem at all.
- Fragrance – It has a kinda pungent fragrance which is a bit irritating. But I haven’t seen a peel-off mask which doesn’t have this kind of a fragrance so I suppose it can’t be helped. Those with sensi noses though will definitely not like this.
- Application & Effectiveness – I use this on my skin after cleansing thoroughly. I use a thin layer to cover the entire surface of my face. Firstly, the claim of drying within 10mins is so fake! It took about 20-25mins to dry even though I sat right under the fan (this was actually to dissipate the smell which irked me a tad bit too much). Removal is pretty easy and the entire thing came off in one single go so I didn’t have to keep poking at my face I did feel the tightening sensation with this which is only one of its very very few redeemable points.
- Now for the whitening claim. I will admit my skin did look pretty bright (not white )after I peeled the mask off. However this effect didn’t last more than half a day. Possibly this could be used a couple of hours before going for a party, but if you wana do this a day or 2 prior then forget about it. The effects don’t last that long at all. I was so disappointed with this. I was hoping this would help remove my tan but it didn’t work at all. Withing 6hrs or so my skin was back to its normal self.
- It is said to help remove black heads as well but I don’t really have them so can’t comment on that front. But then again, if I wanted something for blackheads, I’d just buy a blackhead removal strip instead of spending so much on this.

- Doesn’t stand to its main claim of whitening.
- Doesn’t dry in 10mins as claimed.

- Too pricey for a product which doesn’t work.
- A lot of product is needed for a single use so this is bound to get over in 4-5 uses.
- Availability is subject to finding a representative
- Fragrance is too pungent.

The first thing that came to my mind after reading the title was everyouth and MI. Everyouth was highly disappointing though, it took forever to come off, fevicol peels were better.
hehe..true..but honestly at that age i dint even kno how peel offs were supposed to work..i just t use it coz it was something new and made me feel all grown up..hehe…plus the mission impossible movie ka asar!
Same here, the only reason I got that peel mask was I wanted to imitate Tom Cruise and Peel a mask off my face if only to reveal my own, I did not even care if I didnt look extemely pretty and all.
But it never peeled in one go.

true Ash…I think that the thinner the layer of the mask the more likely it is to peel off in one go..
Zee i like peel off masks but i don think so they work on me .
Waise i am yet to find a peel off that actually works…everyuth dint work, nor does this!
Peel-off masks are fun, but I don’t think they ever work that well…this products seems that have way more cons than pros…

oh yes! the everyuth one used t hurt my hair so much! i used to get a reaction more or less coz of all the hair pulling!
ever yuth one was still ok on me as i have super strong bournvita girl skin but there was no effect at all.
hehe..it used to tear my hair out with a vengance!

hehe…thats looking at the upside of things…but whenever i remove facial hair i get such a horrbile rash..so ive stopping doing anything and have left them peacefully t do as they wish..
same happens with me also so now i let them show
sometime i do bleach also but i dont want to use that much of chemical on my face.

All peel off masks give only 2-3 hour brightness, but nevertheless are really fun to use.
At present i am using Jovees peel off
i agree…thats the only thing i enjoy..the sensation while removing it..hehe..hav t find one that works tho..

I used to feel the same way..but Ive realised its all about how much u put…In my case, the more I apply, the more hte hurts and the entire thing doesnt come out in one go…so i put a thin layer and it dried fast and comes off in one go without any pain

heyyy nice review. I love peel off masks. I am back to buying Oriflame since I am in touch with my Oriflame distirbutor again. I was curious about this entire range so am really glad you reviewed it. I wont be buying it ofcourse also becos my Everyuth orange peel off mask is working fine for me. I too love this whole peeling off effect and imagining that I have really soft skin.
hehe..so true..i think its all in the mind..we tend to like hte effect and the mental picture of peeling away crappy skin in order to gget baby soft new skin..hehe..

u saved a lot of money for a lot of people, i myself dont like peel off masks had used the golden glow peel off from everyuth n it robbed my skin of its natural oils n made it dry.
Hi Indrani…glad u liked this..i usually like using peel off in summer when my skin is naturally oily…but then again this one did absolutely nothing for me..a total waste…

Pricey for a 75 ml mask! N peel offs dont work for my oily skin
really? they usually work best on oily skin since it reduces oiliness whereas for normal to dry skin it just seems like it strips all the moisture from the face! hehe..
donno y…ive used everyuth golden glow (that too only coz i got a free sample) n it felt like i’d done nothin to my face

till date i’ve only used only one peel off mask n tht too yrssssssssssss back. this sounds nice coz i don’t like the ever bawfadaar,chipkoo peel packs.

My first experience of peel was real bad
I applied a thick layer, so that it comes out in a single pull as shown on TV, result I pulled so many facial hairs and got breakout.
But I still use Khadi one sometime.

I scare my lil neice with peel off masks…hehe..they are so much fun to use…and the best peel off mask i’ve used so far is himalaya..it literally peels off the facial hair…promise..

Yes it did leave my face PINKKK after that ordeal…however i rubbed some ice and it glowed..i liked it, but dont dare to do it frequently..oh the pain..
