Avon My Lip Miracle in Totally Twig Review

Price: $8 for 11oz. I don’t know how much it costs in INR

Packaging: The packaging which is a blue swivel tube is really classy and looks expensive.

Smell: It has a very strong floral smell which is similar to the smell of gardenias. Apart from the strong smell, it has this floral kinda taste too. The smell and taste are not unpleasant but they sure are strong.

Texture:  The texture is creamy and glides on a like a dream. But because of all the creaminess it has a tendency to accentuate the fine lines and imperfections. I make sure to exfoliate my lps before putting it on. It doesn’t dry out my lips and live up to the claim of being moisturizing. It isn’t totally matte and stays glossy. The pigmentation is really great and two swipes are moe than enough. The only con is that it doesn’t stay on for long. It transfers on contact and doesn’t stay for more than 2 hours, even though the company claims 8 hours.

Shade: It’s a warm brown that leans pink. This is what I had expected Nyx Tea Rose to look on me. Whereas Nyx totally washed me out, this one fortunately looked perfect. On me it leans a little more pink than brown, but I reckon the shade will change according to the undertones. I think this could be an MLBB shade for duskies.

What I Like About Avon My Lip Miracle Lipstick in Totally Twig:

  • Very creamy. Doesn’t dry out lips.
  • The shade would flatter all skin tones.
  • Packaging is classy.
  • Glossy finish.

What I Like About Avon My Lip Miracle Lipstick in Totally Twig:

  • Staying power is really poor.
  • The smell and taste are too overpowering.
  • Accentuates the fine lines of the lips.

Will I recommend it: Go for it only if you find a shade you think you can’t live without. Otherwise, there are better options out there.
