Vaadi Herbals Anti-Wrinkle Cream Review
Wise She New Year Mega Mega NYX International Giveaway Entry 5 By Revathy
Hey dearies.. I am back after pretty long time with my next product review on Vaadi Herbals Anti-Wrinkle Cream’s product review.
Let me first make an important announcement.. this product was a surprise gift from Urbantouch on purchase of above Rs.500… ultimately it turned out to be a shocking gift (didn expect this one to be a gift like the many others of you)
About the product:
I think Vaadi Herbals in a new player in the market and have come out a variety of herbal products for daily use and priced very competitively when compared to other brands.
I would prefer to call them cheap not competitive.
What the product claims:
It claims that it ‘reduces wrinkling & ageing of skin’.
It mentions – ‘Wheatgerm oil is a powerful antioxidant rich in Vitamin E. It improves skin elasticity & thus reduces skin wrinkling. Almond oil is rich in Vitamin A. It delays ageing & removes skin wrinkles. Manjistha improves skin complexion.’
Ingredients:-
- With Wheatgerm Oil & Almond Oil.
- Other than the above, no specific ingredient list is mentioned.
Packaging:-It comes in a small tub packaging in white.
Price:
Urbantouch was smart enough to rip off the price label before shipping their surprise to me.
Nevertheless I found out the price to be INR 50 for 15 ml. This pack had 10 ml free in it too thus making it INR 50 for 25 ml.
The way I see this cream:
I thought of giving a trial to this white cream using it as an overnight cream. I believe the first time I picked it up I used a little too much of it and ended up looking oily.
From the second time on I started using a little less of the product and found it to be hydrating enough. Even there were days when I used this product in daytime before my sunscreen and suited me enough for the day too.
But the anti-wrinkle claim is absolutely baseless and in spite of using this product overnight for more than two months now, there has been no change in the light wrinkles I have around my eyes.
It does nothing but moisturize!
Also the fragrance of the cream is a little twitchy for me. It doesn’t smell neither of almond or wheatgerm nor any pleasant fragrance. I would say it smells of castor oil strongly. Yes.. it does! L
I m for one – no patron of castor oil or its fragrance and just cant stand this cream. But yes the smell does fade away shortly and doesn’t bother one for long.
The ‘Yes’ factors:
- Price
- Moisturizes dry skin too
The ‘No’ factors:
- Tub packaging
- Castor oil fragrance
- No complete ingredients
- Online availability only
My rating:
- Availability: 2/5
- Price: 4/5
- Product: 2.5/5

Vaadi products are a Pass for me… i got their eye cream as a surprise gift from Urban Touch… There was itching sensation around my eye area wen i applied this

Somehow Ive never bothered to try Vaadi products. the name itself didnt sound appealing to me
and why does UT give such “gifts” and spoil its reputation ??
i agree Deeps….the name itself doesnt make we wana try it…but i wud have had it have gotten better reviews and seemed worth it….none of their products seem t get the kind of reviews which wud compel us t buy..

Everybody wants to stay away from Vaadi but UT won’t let us be
its like they force us to try the products..i guess none of their stuff is selling so UT just wants to give it off for free in hope something might click
Vaadi seems shady
Looks good, I mean its really so reasonable so , its ok i think!
Goodmorning!!
ance-leftright:
yew!! castor oil??? :bangbang: :bangbang: :bangbang: Vaadi & UT!!!
This product really sounds weird….I dunno why UT gives those horrible Vaadi products as freebies…Thank god I got the Fabindia under eye cream as a freebie which is actually pretty okay..
Another miss from them..
I ordered a few Vedic line products from them…find their facewashes quite innovative…check them out if you get to..
innovative in the sense Mits?
Innovative in the sense the washes i ordered are 1-Eucalyptus and Rosemary and 2-Charcoal disinfecting face wash with Tea Tree. Now i havent heard these combinations earlier..so thats why..
must say you are brave enough to use it on face
lolz..
Arre those are Vedic Line i’m talking about not Vaadi.. :wallbash:
Haha Madhura..in that way i am brave..lol..but i generally can judge if a FW is going to suit me or not in the first was itself. If it doesnot then it becomes my body wash…haha
vedic line products are packaged much better than vaadi.
atleast they don’t look tacky
actually ladies i ordered the Vaadi eye cream from UT and am probably the only one to say this but I found it quite nice actually. its creamy, no major scent, no itchiness, can be used under the concealer for smoother application. might not be great in treatting under eye circles but for the price i am quite satisified with just using it as a eye base bfore applying makeup.
wow eye base..does it gets absorbed easily into oily skin also ?
