Faces Cosmetics Glam On Lip Gloss 051 Review & Swatches

Faces Lip glosses keep dishing out surprises for us every now and then .Shade 051 – I don’t have it’s box and it doesn’t have a name on it so I will be calling it Agent 051 .I Googled to check whether it has any shade no. and landed on urbantouch.com where shade 051 was named as cupcake which showed a pink lip gloss .

Now when I am utterly confused of it’s name I will stick to Agent 051 only so that it solves it mystery all by itself one day

What Faces Claims about Glam On :-

Enriched with Vitamin E, it is engrossed with high moisturizing emollient that apart from adding diva factor to your personality nurtures your lips. It is easy to apply and leaves a trail of high shine lip gloss, so no need to add on shine. Moreover it leaves your lips fragrant with a slight flavour of vanilla, which all the way makes them more kissable.

Price – INR 449 for 5.6ml

Shades – I swatched 10 beautiful shades on the Faces cosmetics counter but didn’t find this one there albeit SA was of opinion that Faces has launched 10 shades only.Wish Faces comes out with their detailed press release soon !!

Packaging & Applicator – It comes in a transparent tube with a metallic silver cap and a silver strip in between.On the tube there is Faces trademark “F” and the gloss comes with a sponge applicator which are always my preference.

Texture – It’s a thick gloss but it spreads easily and is non sticky.It has strong un-likable fragrance which vanishes off when applied on lips.

Pigmentation – Agent 051 is sheer therefore I don’t like to use it on my pigmented lips alone.

Swatch – It’s a milky peach shade lipgloss with lots of shimmer in it.As I applied this lip gloss on a hot pink lipstick it looks little pink in first swatch which is not the exact shade therefore I swatched it twice here.

If worn alone, it looks terrible on my lips therefore I applied it on my Faces cosmetic moisture rich lipstick which is quite dark for me.It toned down the colour and the silver shimmer looked okiesh with it .

I don’t like the 501 shade

Recommendations – If you like sheer peach shade with silver shimmer then only buy this one otherwise there are many many pretty shades in this range which are definitely worth a try .
