Lakme Absolute Lipstick – Winter Lily

This is my first review.I am a wiseshe reader since last year and love reading all the posts.
I will be reviewing Lakme Absolute Matte Lipstick in Winter Lily shade[ no.205] which I bought a month ago.
Description-
“A luxurious lip color enriched with Vitamin E and wheatgerm oil for a non drying creamy yet matte finish.”
I would describe it as a pink plum mix shade, with a hint of shimmer in it.As the name suggests it is matte and smooth to apply.It glides easily on the lips because of its creamy texture.
- Price: 375 INR for 3.6 ml
- Packaging: Metallic grey case with just cellophane as outer cover.The lipstick does look sleek and classy.The bullet is shaped liked the 9 to 5 lipsticks.
Shade-
I would describe it as a pink with little bit of plum shade, with a hint of shimmer in it.As the name suggests it is matte and smooth to apply.It glides easily on the lips because of its creamy texture.

Coverage and pigmentation-
With a single swipe it hardly gives any coverage.I have pigmented lips and need at least three swipes to get the right colour.Pigmentation is good.
Staying power-
I stays on my lips for 4-6 hours with a meal in between.I already have dry lips and this tends to dry them more.
What I like about this lipstick-Lakme Absolute
- The colour
- Texture is creamy
- Smooth on my lips
- Classy looks
- Good pigmentation
What I don’t like-Lakme Absolute
- Dries my lips
- Staying power is 4 to 6 hours only contrary to claims.
Recommendation-
I would recommend this one if you want to try a different shade.

Yes Ani….shade is really pretty…though i wish it lasted longer..

though i loved the lakme absolute matte lippy that I have, which is CLassic Rose… apart from this shade i couldn’t get myself to like any other shade 
yup it gets a bit drying but its winters… when i bought it that time it wasn’t very drying
