L’Occitane Aromachologie –Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner for Dry & Damaged hair Review
Hi Friends,
This is my first review on Wiseshe.I have been using the L’Occitane Aromochologie Shampoo and conditioner for dry & Damaged hair for about 2 months now.My hair becomes a bit dry in winter and even though I don’t style my hair very often, I chemically straightened my hair twice and also use hair dryer during winter.
When I saw these products at a L’Occitane boutique, I thought why not give it a try.(This is a more advanced and harmful chemical free version of the 3 essential oils shampoo)These are my first two purchases from L’Occitane was using the Kerastase Oleo relax shampoo prior to this.
- Price: AUD 24
Product claims:-
This Shampoo contains a natural complex of 5 essential oils (angelica, lavender, geranium, patchouli, and ylang-ylang) which work together in synergy to help repair, strengthen, regenerate and soften dry and damaged hair. The perfect shampoo for those who colour treat, permanent wave, blow dry, curling iron, or use drying styling products on hair.

Ingredients
My experience with this shampoo
This is a very relaxing shampoo; it smells divine and very herbal like. My hair felt soft and manageable after the first wash. From my opinion, the best part of this shampoo would be that you will feel like you have been to the hair spa-might be because of the fragrance and relaxing experience. I like the organic smell of this shampoo (its smells a bit like almond paste and lavender) when compared to other chemical shampoos. Another point is, I do not oil my hair often. So I feel chemical shampoos might be too harsh on unoiled hair. This L’Occitane shampoo however is gentle and cleansing enough for everyday use. Does not make any change to hair fall.
However, when i oil my hair I use my kerastase shampoo as this one does not get rid of oil, unless you rinse it about three times.
Consistency
Transparent and a bit thick consistency (Not runny)
What I love about this shampoo L’Occitane Aromachologie –Repairing Shampoo
- Cleans hair without drying it
- Free from harmful chemicals
- Can be used often even everyday
- Lovely organic fragrance
- L’Occitane offers eco-refills for this shampoo, in accordance with L’Occitane eco-friendly standard.
What I do not like about L’Occitane Aromachologie –Repairing Shampoo
- Quite pricey compared to drugstore brand shampoos.
- I feel my hair has become “used “to this shampoo after 2 months. It does not leave my hair as manageable or soft as before.
I might not buy this immediately after I run out of this product, this is because I feel my hair has become used to it. Might buy it later on, if I see it on sale/offer.

I Guys,
I used the Kerastase Oleo relax shampoo(As I had chemically relaxed my hair ) prior to this but just felt it is loaded with chemicals. This one as some essential oils so makes me feel less guilty as I wash my hair very often sometimes everyday
However I do agree that kerastase made my air sleek and shiny……
Anamika I sent the review of the conditioner separately to you …..
