Few of you asked me whether Inglot eyeliner gel Matte 74 is a dupe of MAC Dark diversion, so I thought of showing you the difference. Both, when reviewed individually, look same but actually there is quite a bit of difference when swatched together

- Price of MAC Dark Diversion – INR 1000 for 3gm and Inglot Eyeliner is INR 680 for5.5gm
- Texture - Both are smooth but Inglot one starts drying after five months while MAC diversion is still creamy and glides beautifully.Both are pigmented and soft and will suit sensitive eyes.
Swatches :-
MAC Dark Diversion (Right) – It’s a burgundy shade with a mix of brown .It has purply-mauve micro shimmer in it which is not that much visible but does add a bit of difference to the shade.It’s a great shade to be used from usual brown or black.
Coming to Inglot Eyeliner Gel Matte 74 – It’s a beautiful matte little glossy egg plant shade with a mix of plum.Looks amazingly beautiful
Staying power of both shades is equally good and I love both the shades Now choice is yours

Tups pata hai i went so crazy after Dark diversion..i asked my bro to get it for me for my bday lekin he cudnt get it….finally after 5 or 6mts of wanting it i got it earlier this month…its gorgeous and ul never regret gettin it

yup! inglot ones are drying therefore buying a duraline is a must for me Jyo
Hey! The eyelook in beathtakingly beautiful! In terms os useability I incline towards MAC, but since Inglot one is greater in quantity, I would go for it. I am thinking of getting the jet black

for black i prefer maybelline only.its no where bad at all..for coloured eyeliner these r a better choice
I agree jyo..inglot wala dries a bit too fast without allowing us to line properly..my teal wala has almost dried up..developed a long crack! Bt thank god for duraline..makes everything bearable..
awwww.Mine is fine till now but it is a pain to go over the line again and again.
m not buying any Inglot gel abhi.

Both have their own charms and look gorgeous..for the price and quantity inglot beats it but at the same time mac one stays creamy with drying for long time..hmmm kinda difficult choice to make!

I am a total Inglot freak – have started shopping there almost every month! But i have my reservations about their gel liner! Had picked one a year back and it has dried! I tried it with duraline too but didnot like the finish with duraline! MAC fluidelines, in contrast, are a dream to work with!
My personal opinion is that Inglot products are as good as if not better than MAC. I prefer their colours to MAC anytime. But on the gel eyeliners, MAC comes out top! I have yet to try Bobbi Brown ………
And love the way you have done the aubergine eyemakeup!

Hi Roopa,
as i have few inglot gel eyeliners with me & have realized that some of the inglot one have worst of the texture which get dry and flaky with in few months..some of them like this one is pretty nice in texture and is still goes smoothly ..so with inglot its kind of a hit and a miss case but with mac one can be assured.
How do you get duraline to make it work? I tried once and was not too happy with the results! But in terms of colour the inglot one wins hands down!
Last week I got their liquid illuminator – its just amazing! I used it as a highlighter as well as an eye-makeup base! Do try if you can!
