This perfume was supposed to be reviewed at the last, as I have couple more I would love to present to you girls. But the excitement got to me and here I am giving it to you now.
Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy is my most favourite perfume of all times. Like the other perfumes in my collection, I got this one abroad. On my way back fromUK, hubby wanted me to check the brand Givenchy for perfumes. I was bewildered, coz’I didn’t even know how to pronounce it. I talked around, learned how to pronounce it and then after checking the shops I decided to buy it duty free. I bought it for 30 pounds in Harrods in the Heathrow Terminal 5.
Now coming to the perfume, Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy can only be defined as heavenly. It an absolute delight for floral perfume lovers. I have had people come and tell me that my perfume smells lovely and that too in the evening. It’s truly a sexy perfume. It not strong, yet lingering enough for every one to compliment you.
As perfume.com describes it
“Reclaiming the aristocratic essence of the house founded by Hubert de Givenchy, the couturier who famously dressed Audrey Hepburn, the new Eau Demoiselle is destined at young women (demoiselles in French) who want to capture this distinguished elegance leaping off the page of retro glossies. Well-bred, but cultivated enough to subvert stuffy mores, she does everything gracefully. Fresh, summery and floral, the Eau Demoiselle fragrance takes you away on a sunny walk inside the secret garden of an old-world French chateau. Classic ribbed bottle with curvy lines, as austere and elegant as a couture piece by Givenchy. Created: 2010 Type: Floral”
- Top Notes: Mandarin orange, Italian winter lemon andShiso (Japanese Basil).
- Heart Notes: Rose, ylang ylang heart and orangeblossom.
- Base Notes: Musk, Ambrette seeds, tonka bean andcedar.
Though the notes are those of a fruity floral perfume, the perfume centers on Rose, the main ingredient. So it smells more of a floral perfume, and its freshness is enough to attract the young women of today.
