I and Zee were discussing a lot over this New Lakme Sun expert range lately. She already reviewed Lakme Sun Expert Skin Lightening + DeTan After Sun Face Wash and Lakme Sun Expert Fairness + UV Lotion SPF30 PA + and even I decided I’ll try my hands on the face mask and the Lakme gel mask as my skin is still getting better (acne) and I cant afford using any sunscreen. So I decided to get rid of the tan, the combo of mask and gel would be perfect as I have to use them after sun hours.

So First let me bring to you Lakme Sun Expert After Sun Skin Lightening Mask. Mumbai’s heat is really getting unbearable day by day and the icing on the cake is dirt, sweat and most annoying TAN. As you guys already know my skin treatment is going on. I didn’t want to buy the sunscreen or something which I have to keep on my skin for hours and after sun skin lightening mask sound like the best bet to me!

About Lakme Sun Expert After Sun Skin Lightening Mask :-

It is an easy rinse off mask that visibly helps lighten sun tanning and skin brightening. A soothing clay based mask, it acts to fight sun darkening and lighten skin with regular use. Specially formulated with cucumber and Lemon grass extracts it also soothes and detoxifies skin and leaves a tingling fresh and clean feel.

Price – Rs. 150 for 50gm.
Usage – Apply on your face evenly and massage in a gentle circular upward motion. Leave it on for 15minutes and then rinse off. For best results use once a week and top up with Lakme Sun Expert After Sun Skin Lightening Gel. (that’s what I exactly do )

My experience with Lakme Sun Expert After Sun Skin Lightening Mask :-

First and foremost I love the new yellow packaging, so bright . This face mask is white in color and has thick consistency. It dries up pretty quickly as soon as you apply it,you will sense a warm tingling sensation. I Suppose that’s an indication that the product is working on you. It didn’t irritate me or broke me out (Thank God ) and cleared my skin thoroughly. Although it didn’t lighten my skin like I expected it But yes, this mask evens out skin tone and helps in removal of tanning to an extent. It wont help if you have a very old tan but quite effective in removal of mild tanning. This one works awesome with the after sun gel . It did soothe out my acne pretty well maybe because of lemon grass I think. The fragrance of the mask is exactly like they had before, the typical citrus smell which I like. All in all, I will say it’s a pretty nice, mattifying face mask for all skin types at such a cost effective price.
