I had seen many foreign beauty bloggers enjoying Mini bourjois lipstick, Mascara , blush and lipglosses some two years back, but sadly they never hit the Indian market .A month back I saw them on brandsfetish.com (Check out my haul here)and I just jumped in excitement.Sadly they only had the lipstick and not the lip gloss or mascara but at least I got to try something from a collection which was launched two years back .

There were many shade available in these on the site and as I had no idea of the swatches I chose the shade Disco 04 on the basis of the pictures shown on the site.

These are really tiny almost half of MAC lipsticks, but as these are the miniature version I find the idea more interesting because with such huge collection of lipsticks lying, it becomes difficult to finish them off. I am sure I am going to finish off atleast this.It comes in a black packaging with its name written at its bottom.

Texture – It’s quite moisturising but I find the formula little gritty.I am always careful while using it as I always fear that the tip might break down. Although it’s a sheer lipstick but it covers pigmentation easily.It stays for three to four hours on my lips without meals. With meal in between it just vanishes off without even leaving a tint behind .

It keeps lips soft and if you have dry lips then don’t forget to exfoliate them before using it otherwise it will just enhance out the chapped lips more.

A highly moisturizing glossy sheer golden shimmery coral shade

This is how it looks on my lips.Golden shimmer is quite apparent and I have clicked the pictures with flash so that it is more visible here.It’s a kind of shade which you will love wearing during your night out parties .

What I did not like about Bourjois Mini Lipstick :-

It’s sheer, therefore to cover up the pigmentation when I glide it more on my lips, I have to spread the shade out evenly with my finger or lipstick brush.
Shade is gritty.
Most of the shades in these are sheer only.

Will I recommend it to others – I didn’t have a shade like this therefore I enjoyed wearing it with my traditional dresses.Though a bit gritty in texture but overall I would say that it’s not bad buy if you like sheer shades.
