Just go back to your vanity and check out on how many liquid liners do you possess compared to your eye liner pencils???Shocked?? Heck yeah! You believe it or not, but u do have eyeliner pencils more in quantity as compared to liquid eyeliners. Not your fault, you know the eyeliner pencils are so tempting for the reason they come in variety of different shades from each brand that even if you have a blue from Chambor then you will be like ..Oh! But I don’t have that blue from Lakme or Colorbar (Colorbar Kohl intense eyeliner Mysterious blue) or Faces(Read Faces Turquoise eyeliner review) etc. Because no matter how much ever u control on purchasing your mind can’t seem to deny the fact that every brand is different and so are the colors. Ok! So quickly jumping to Bourjois Paris Khol & Contour Eye Pencil in Prune Moderne 75. Can u imagine me being a die-heart purple lover NOT having a single purple eyeliner pencil?? I mean seriously…shame on me! 
And in order to get over with the guilt I got this very pretty shade Prune Moderne which is more of a violetish purple

My Experience with Bourjois Paris Khol & Contour Eye Pencil in Prune Moderne 75
I love crayon eye pencils first of all because I have noticed they somehow do not smudge that much on the waterline like other creamy kohl/kajal pencils available. Correct me If I am wrong! They do not have lasting power on waterline but atleast they do not smudge. I have used this pencil both on the lashline as well as on waterline. It stayed for 5-6hrs on my lashline and then started to fade off and on waterline it only lasted for 2-3hrs without any smudging but not 16hrs for sure. I really loved the shade which is buildable and deeply pigmented if you happen to make it really intense than it becomes black so I like to put just one or two stroke of this on my lashline and I am done, one doesn’t have to work to hard to make it work. The shade is pretty cute. And because it is not smudge proof, it can also be smudged and used as an eye shadow that way this eye pencil rocks even more. It comes out easily with water and cotton but hey it never claimed to be waterproof . 
And the best part about this pencil is it is not like those hard wooden crayon pencil which tugs or pulls the skin around your eyes. Having said that, sharpening these pencils are easy and hassle free. Infact because of its creamy properties its damn smooth and easy on the lids which I totally adore. This pencil is easy on lens wearers too and I believe all those sensitive eyeballs eyeing this right now, this is made for U So if you are looking for some cost effective, deeply pigmented purple eyeliner. Go for this!

What I like about Bourjois Paris Khol & Contour Eye Pencil in Prune Moderne 75:-
- Pretty shade
- Deep pigmentation
- Smooth and creamy texture
- Staying power is good
- Can be worked on both lashline and waterline
- Can be smudged for an eyeshadow
- Can be used on sensitive eyes
- Doesn’t give racoon eyes
- Sharpening is hassle free
What I dislike about Bourjois Paris Khol & Contour Eye Pencil in Prune Moderne 75:-
- Not waterproof but never claimed so
- Doesn’t last for 16hrs
- Sudden price raise
Will I re purchase it – I think I will take a lot of time to finish this, but if it does I will buy again. In the meanwhile I want to try the browns in this range..looks very promising!

Naa sweetz! It just stays for 2-3hrs max on my waterline and on Ana’s waterline it smudges too!
However i never experienced smudging! So dont know how it will work on u!
