Today, I want to present Faces Glam On Eye Shadow Duo in Smoky Look 14 to you. Maybe, I am too late and you guys must have already used most of Faces Glam On eye shadow duos.(Check out 6 Faces glam on eyeshadow swatches)  But anyway I just like to share my views and opinions with almost everything I buy. After all What are girlfriends for?  Wink Grin For All those who doesn’t know how mad I am about smokey eye make up. Will know by now that I am MAD over Smokey look..LOL Razz Hence I pick up everything and anything which says “smokey or smoky” Razz(Brown smokey eye makeup with MAC Reflects Antique Gold)

I have tried FACES lipsticks(12 Faces Rouge Lipstick swatches) and eyeliner pencils and I must say they are doing a FAB job. It’s a great brand offering quality equal to higher end brands.  Just that I don’t understand their pricing system, sometime I feel they over-price certain products. Just let me know if its me alone or you to have the same opinion but later on let me start with this and then u can shoot Smile

My Experience with Faces Glam On Eye Shadow Duo in Smoky Look 14

The smoky duos are a combination of blues i.e the first blue is like a proper bold blue , not navy color which is too dark blue not sky blue which is too light. The other one is grayish blue in color which has a tinge of blue looks more like a slate gray with blue undertones. I love the matte finish of the eyeshadows and the pigmentation is pretty good too, the best part is if you want to have an intense smoked look you can simply wet the applicator and apply it wet that would look stunning. It works both the ways with/without primer. Without primer it last for say some 4hrs with primer it stays for good 6-7hours. It does not have any shimmer, the texture is smooth and mattifying. Also, there is very less fall out in the smoky look 14 eye shadow duo compared to the other duos. The eyeshadow duo is very handy and can be easily dumped in my handbag. I wish it would have been a trio than a duo coz smokey look without a jet black eyeshadow is incomplete, one black matte e/shadow would have complete the squad. Also, the packaging is a con for me as the metallic cover tends to get lot of scratches even if you use it scarcely though most girls like the packaging. I personally like that it has a small cute mirror and a decent applicator which is perfect for applying eyeshadows. I use the same applicator and its pretty good at its job. Ultimately, I would like to wind up by saying that this eyeshadow duo is perfect if you want to experiment smokey look on your self even if you are on the go, happens with me when I have to immediately leave for a party/outing with my friends  after work and then you can simply get this out of your bag team the shades put a lot of mascara (Read sleek lash out mascara review) and kajal (Check out Bourjois Kohl and counter black review) and there you are Night Queen Grin

 What I like about Faces Glam On Eye Shadow Duo in Smoky Look 14:-

 

  • Pretty good pigmentation
  • Mattifying smooth texture
  • Can create versatile looks
  • Can be applied wet as well
  • Shades are buildable
  • Inbuilt mirror and decent applicator
  • Staying power with primer last for 6-7hrs
  • Haven’t experienced any fall out
  • Very compact to carry

 What I dislike about Faces Glam On Eye Shadow Duo in Smoky Look 14:-

  • I think the price is unreasonable.
  • An addition of a matte black eyeshadow would have complete the squad
  • Metallic packaging tends to get scratches easily.

 

Would I re-purchase Faces Glam On Eye Shadow Duo in Smoky Look 14 – Probably the other duos but not the same one of course Razz Not too sure as I think the price is not reasonable, we have many other duos available by other brands at a lesser price.

THis is for my sis n am not gettin her Mac since shez super careless n I’d die if she lost it Pain Faces mono is too greyish. Went looking for colorbar black tie…but it was out of stock too Frown
