Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow Varnau
There is something about Illamasqua powder eyeshadows which set them apart from all the other brands which I have tried till date.Like most high end brands this one is not chalky or gives a powdery feeling but its not velvety or creamy either.It falls between the two categories where you know it is a powder eyeshadow but when you swatch it you have this mixed feeling.I hope I am able to express my feeling towards the beloved powder eyeshadow 
. This is what I say to my hubby when he just nod his head and looks blank after an hour of talking

- Price - £ 15 for 2 gms.(I know it is expensive but I recently noticed that Illamasqua keeps coming up with some amazing sale offers.So do keep a track and with this we too will keep you updated)
- Packaging- It comes in a square packaging which have curves to its corners.There is a small square transparent cover on its lid which makes its easy to know the shade.
When I swatched it first it didn’t come out as pigmented as I expected it to be but afterwards I did find the shade buildable, smooth and pigmented.

It’s a matte beige brown shade which I absolutely love for blending my eyeshadow.I have swiped it once here and you can see how good is the pigmentation.
With a primer it lasts for around six -seven hours and but if you have oily lids then it can crease a bit because it is tad bit creamy.Shade goes beautifully well when used for smoky eye makeup looks and it’s kind of shade which will suit most skin tone.After swatching the eyeshadow I went for a shower and after coming back , to my surprise the swatch was intact which happens mostly with pigmented dark MAC eyeshadows.
Will I recommend it to others – Definitely! If you are fond of Illamasua products and looking for some every day matte shade then this will thrill you .
