Hi All,
I love shower gels and keep experimenting with different kinds. My favourites so fave have been Lush Flying Fox, Freeman’s Chocolate Mint body wash and Lush Olive Branch. This one from L’Occitane I picked up because I wanted to try a Rose scented shower gel. I’ve never been a huge fan of the rose fragrance but around the time I bought this I recall a discussing about it here on Wiseshe itself. So many girls were praising the fragrance that I felt I had to give it another go. So when 99labels came up with this in their sale it was as if God had dropped it into my very lap and I didn’t even bother resisting…Can’t blame me right?
About L’Occitane Rose 4 Reines Shower Gel
This shower gel gently cleanses the skin, leaving it delicately perfumed with the fresh and velvety fragrance of the grasse, Bulgarian, Moroccan and Turkish roses.
As a foaming bath, it transforms into a rich foam infused with a fresh and slightly fruity fragrance

My experience with L’Occitane Rose 4 Reines Shower Gel
- Packaging – This comes in a see through plastic bottle with a tiny, golden flip top. I have the 75ml bottle which is perfect for travel. The lid is also pretty sturdy and doesn’t have a huge risk of leaking and causing a mess.
- Color & Texture – This shower gel is a light tea color and very silky in texture.. While using it I literally feel like my skin is covered in silk.
- Fragrance – In one line I can say that this is ‘A Feast for the Senses’. The minute I sud-up my loofah the fragrance of roses bursts out and permeates the entire bath..It’s not too sharp either which I hate..This is a soft almost curved scent (I hope this isn’t too confusing) which is super relaxing.
My Verdict:
This is by far the best rose scented product I’ve ever used. And all thanks to Wiseshe girls who’s constant Oohing and Aahing over roses made me get this 
This shower gel is almost flawless infact…the only negative I can think of is that it’s not too hydrating. But then again I don’t mind this since I use a lotion within 10mins of getting out of the bath regardless of whether the shower gel/soap was the moisturizing type.
What I like about L’Occitane Rose 4 Reines Shower Gel:
- By far the best Rose scented product I’ve used.
- Very relaxing
- Lathers quite a bit
- Fragrance isn’t sharp or cloying..It’s actually a very soft yet distinctive scent.
- It doesn’t dry out my skin
- Will suit oily skin as well.
- This tiny bottle will last a good while
- Travel friendly packaging
- I love the smaller sized bottles. Perfect to try out a product especially when it’s so pricey.
- L’occitane products are now available on UT as well.

That flip top lid is oh-so-cute! I guess this smells like their hydrating rose mist…heavenly!!

are this one gets scared with sound wale toys, its my Bramhastra for her. her new fav. is a plastic doggy dumbell. oh well! she even likes khali bottles, pizza boxes, she has bitten a lotta my B’s straps, in short she makes me crazy. But at last, she becomes so lovey dovey that I dont give her to the Koodawala

My sunny luvs noise wale toys…he’ll first squeeze and then run away from the noise..then come back n do it againand run…and if we try to go take it he run and grab it away
the only thing that scares him is a showpiece of a black horse…if we show it to him and say kaalu, he gets scared and runs away

i was so much in hurry that i missed the sale altogether.
Thats reminds me my Sandy chewed up mom’s 18 pairs of slippers in the last 5 months !!! He someway finds out where she hides them in the night and goes on his job..mera Sandy is 8 months old baby
u know u should stop him when hes doing the job. roll only one piece of news paper and u can hit that on him. they register the noise. of course its painless and also u can hold on to his snout quite tight when he chews for say 5 secs and he will remember that and when u go to him again with ure hand in a position to hold his snout he will drop the slipper and stop doing it….
Wooow Chris thanks for the tip…i’m really tired keep a count of mom’s slippers. I will explain this to mom and will definitely tell you if it worked. Waise how long before he registers ?

no not painful u dont have to press but only hold firmly to tell him that u are in control and u will keep his mouth in ure control too. he will keep doing it till he realises that u mean business. Even if he cries hold it. Be CONSISTENT with your discipline and don’t let anyone else pamper him when ure correctin him. When u have to shout, only 1 “NO” – very firmly and loudly and in a way that shows you mean business is enough!!!
When u take him out. Walk out first to show that u are in control of this outing. when u come back walk in first he will know that u are in control at home too. Although we love our pets like our kids….there is still a fine line making them animals in the end.
They bloom and grow under discipline and positive training. Petting during petting time and proper behaviour duing the rest. You see how nice hie will become.
