Today I’d be reviewing a beautiful Red lipstick from Lotus Herbals Pure color Range, and the shade name is Red Rose 
This lipstick was a part of their Gorgeous Natural Diva Kit that had a Nail enamel (Crimson Red), a lipstick which I am reviewing now, and a 4-in-1 makeup stick which I will be reviewing soon. The whole kit was introduced near valentine’s day I guess, and priced at a special offer of INR 499/- .

About Lotus Herbals Pure Colors Lipstick Red Rose (612):-
Lotus Herbals Pure Colors Lip Color has natural extracts of Jojoba and Aloe Vera. The unique product qualities are:
- Uniform dispersion of pigments.
- Rich payoff.
- Smooth application.

Packaging :-
The lipstick comes housed inside a classy golden case, with golden details. It is quite sturdy and the cap ain’t loose of flimsy. On the bottom of the case you get lipstick’s shade name and no. There’s no other detail on the lipstick, and you have to open the lipstick to see the actual shade.
Texture & Fragrance :-Lotus Herbals Pure Colors Lipstick Red Rose (612):-
The lipstick’s quality is super awesome as it glides on easily on lips, it gives a semi matte finish, i.e. not matte not glossy, just enough to provide moisturisation to the lips without any tugging or pulling the lipstick. Also the lipstick, unlike other lipsticks, hasn’t melted or deformed a bit in this hot weather 
It has a mild artificial fragrance (I’m not able to identify the fragrance lol 
) but its not bothering as it vanishes after sometime following the application of the lipstick.
Color Payoff & Staying power :-Lotus Herbals Pure Colors Lipstick Red Rose (612)
Well the shade Red rose to me is a universal red shade with brown undertones which makes it wearable as it is not too starkly red or coral or pink with blue or yellow tones. This is one red lipstick which will suit almost all complexions, and will look different on different skin tones. Being a “Red” lipstick, it didn’t aggravated fine lines, nor does it bleeds, so i normally wear it without a lip liner. The lipstick is excellent in covering up pigmented lips, and a single coat is also good enough to provide a uniform coverage, but the lipstick is not transfer-proof, it transfers to almost everything it comes in contact with 
.The staying power is a bit disappointing, as it easily withers out during a meal, a coffee, or even if you wash your face lol Even if you avoid eating/drinking/washing face/rain etc then also it will survive max 3hrs, with which you can see flaky and half baked lips (mine looks like half baked 
) that doesn’t means its super drying, girls who have dry lips should use a lip balm beneath to avoid half baked lips

Final verdict :-
On my lips it looks a little maroon red, I also asked my mom to give this lippy a try, and I must say it looked good on her too all ladies out there looking out for a red lipstick should try this no matter what age you are !! It’s a good vegan universal flattering red shade, with natural ingredients, moisturizing formula, that covers up pigmentation effectively (I can’t say about other lipsticks from this range), with average staying power although I don’t mind re-applying

It looks Corally pink in the swatches na Upsi..does it behave differently on your mom’s and your lips?
i m sure it must have because with age lips get little more pigmented

yea it looks corally pink in the swatch, and might look coral red on few gals, but this is one lippy wich is suitable for all and will look different on different lips

I love all bright colors especially RED.. i Have carnation from lotus..n it such a bful shade too.. this luks like a corally red to me…Love the shade!

I went and asked for this at HnG today they never seem to stock anything thats in demand !! Instead picked up dark chocolates and walked off
