I’ve been an avid biotique products user; some products like Bio Clove Pack, Papaya scrub, Coconut milk cream and cucumber water have fared beautifully on me. While Almond under eye cream and their peach peel off completely let me down. I picked this up to be used as a daily lotion for my body.
With such tall claims, lets see how the product faired.
- Colour and Texture: A pale white product. it’s quite runny, very easy to spread and gets absorbed in a jiffy.
- Smell: A very pleasant smell and It smells quite ayurvedic, aloe and honey are very prominent.
How I Use Biotique Morning Nectar Lightening & Nourishing Lotion SPF 30
I use this as a body lotion – apply it on my hands and feet before sun exposure. I’ve been quite liking the product. It suits my normal body skin and also works on my dry as thar desert feet. It moisturizes them very well and frankly speaking I enjoy using it.
The best part about this is – the smell lingers on for a while, say around 2-3hrs on my skin and it doesn’t bother me at all.
When it worked well for my body in Chennai’s summers, I decided to try it on my face. My facial skin is normal to oily. To be really honest – it worked on my face as well! It did not make my face extra oily, nor did it break me out. It moisturized my skin really well and kept it soft and supple.
The lightening claims dint work though. But I did mildly hope that it lightens the scars, but nevertheless I don’t have any complaints

Biotique has some really nice products but their packaging sucks! It’s not user friendly at all. It’s soooo difficult to get the product out once the bottle is half empty

moreover its quite runny & the mouth of the bottle is too big
Ummm… I understand your predicament, but when the product is good, I don’t really worry about the packing. Having said that – yes Biotique can improve their packaging..

It works on dry feet in moisturising them Vaish.. Doesn’t heal cracks
For cracks you can try this – Soak your feet in warm water with rock salt. Then use a good foot scrub to remove all the dead skin on your feet. Then a heavy moisturiser / Vaseline / coconut oil , wear socks and leave it over night. This shud help you..

My mom has very dry skin and this is her one of the fav. moisturizers. she is very allergic to cosmetics but this one suited her so well!
I can totally relate to that – its my mom’s favourite as well!!

Yup Zee… it works in winters when my skin is a little normal.. Summers mein it melts down.. That has SPF 30 ..

OMG..i cant forget the TM in biotique..ma frnd was using it..in winters it was good n in summers it was melting down n it was horrible..but in winters its a must try product..
OMG!! The TM someone plz help me finish that… 3YRS Shelf life hai 2yrs toh aise hi khatam hai..mere paas sirf 1 yr ki maholat hai!
That’s precisely why I dont use it in summers.. Sometimes all I need is plain aloe vera gel

OMG!!1 I just dont share good relationship with any moisturizer or nourishing cream.
U guys wont believe i dont use moisturiser…i only pat my face with lotus spf 40 sunscreen n den straight away apply make up.
My weird skin breaks out even with mildest of moisturisers!

That’s sad Ric! I cleanse – tone – then appply aloe vera and then this moisturiser.. Like always my skin gets oily aftr 2-3hrs..

Thanks to Sandhya’s reco I have been Biotique’s Bio-Clove pack for over a year now and it works wonders for my blemished, acne-ravaged skin! I got some really good compliments saying my skin was glowing when I used it regularly for about three-four weeks. Sadly their oils/shampoos/conditioners do not have me convinced though
