Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial
First of all, thanks you sooo much for all the lovely comments in my first ever nail art tutorial 
. Cute Watermelon Nail Art Tutorial – Nail Art DesignAs a result of all your encouragement, I’m here with my second nail art tutorial. Soon after I finished the watermelon nail art, I’d decided I wanted to do a lady bird inspired nail art. But like I’d mentioned, I had a dearth of nail art tools. So as promised, I got myself some basic brushes and nail art pens which you would have seen in my haul post. My Dove, Body Shop & Lakme Haul I’m sorry if the pictures are not clear. Just like last time, I did this at night and didn’t even have time redo anything or even correct any mistakes. So please excuse the mess 
.
Lady Bird Nail Art tutorial Step 1
Start with a clear base coat and then paint your nails in a bright, matte red shade.
Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial Step 2 :-
Paint a thick black line in the center of each nail
Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial Step 3 :-
Paint the tips of your nails black making sure they curve slightly at the edges.
Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial Step 4:-
Draw tiny black dots on the red colored surface of the nail
Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial Step 5:-
Draw 2 slightly big white dots on the black tips.
Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial Step 6:-
Draw a black dot in the center of each white dot to make the pupils of the eyes.
Lady Bird Nail Art Tutorial Step 7:-
Seal your nail art with a clear top coat once the rest of the paint is dry.

Things used for Ladybird Nail Art:

Oriflame Crystal Base Coat

Lakme Fast&Fabulous Nail Enamel in Crimson Fire
-
Hyundai Nail art pen – Black
-
Fashion Nail art pen – White
-
Lakme True Wear Nail Color – Clear Glass (as top coat)
Of course, you can use what you used as base coat as top coat too. I prefer using a different product since I don’t want to run the risk of messing the brush 
.
I initially imagined that this would look good only on print and I wouldn’t have the guts to sport it outside. But surprisingly this is pretty wearable and doesn’t look over-the-top at all. Hope you wiseshe-ians liked it (yeah…I make u sound like IITians 
). All honest opinions and suggestions are most welcome

I used a nail art pen for the dots…so can’t quite take credit
This is what they called in tamil – thavalai than vaayal kedum

I dono where u get them in chennai ya…so i asked my sis to get them from mumbai

there is this place in Alsa Mall called – Angels Cosmetics or something, they sell like everything under the sun.. you can get their number on sulekha and give them a ring to find out..
I’ve been wanting to raid that place for a loooong time now

yeaaa…i know that place. used to go there like ages ago. But now i go to Angels in annanagar. like u said, they have evrythin under the sun..but all the S.A.s are baaaad. They donno ABC of make-up or what’s in their store

That’s true about most SAs… There’s this place in Besant Nagar called Trends, wher they stock body shop, bath and body works and **Fake MAC** – those SAs know nothing as well.. But you can always talk to them and get your work done – akka , akka and more akka works
Angels has a branch in Anna Nagar too? But still its the same distance from where I stay..

Very nice and the googly eyes of the lady bird are really cute…….your review was so well written with the step by step explainations. By far one of the best reviews Iv’e read. Also the plant against which you are holding your fingers is called ‘MOTHER IN LAWS TONGUE’ !
