I have always loved skin care more than makeup but after coming to India and watching all these saas bahu serials I realised one thing. Indian women really do know how to emphasize their eyes and make them very alluring. If nothing else…from rich to the poor all women and some men have something on their eyes. Kajal or Eyeliner.
Maybelline is a trusted brand, so I decided to buy their ‘Line Allure Liquid Eyeliner’. I went home very happy and excited to try this on. I washed my face and sat infont of the 5x mirror that I recently purchased all ready to ‘Do my eyes’ I opened it, looked at the light weight felt tip applicator and said “Umm interesting” and aimed straight for my lid with some force ready to draw a line.
Bham!!! I NEVER EXPECTED THIS FELT TIP WAND TO BE SO HARD. The line went all over my lid like a little childs scribbling. Don’t laugh 
I presumed it would be soft because it was intended for drawing lines on eyelids but this was something else!

They have just one colour in it in India – 1 Black( 15 Best black eyeliners/kohl ) . It’s a nice dark black but that is about the only good thing! One swipe is not enough to make a complete line because it dries up and leaves some undesirable empty spaces. Doesn’t deliver enough colour as and when needed. You can see from the picture of the eye and also from the word ‘CRAP’ that I wrote to show for a swatch. The letters are so small but yet you won’t see a single alphabet that is not shaded – dark n light. Can you can see the shine in it? Very plastic right???
It is water proof (Read best waterproof eyeliner) no doubt but when you actually sit to wipe it off with exactly 3 drops of water like I did the word ‘CRAP’, it ‘FLAKES’! It’s like a peel off eyeliner. One thing you can make out from it is that it does not smudge. That may be a plus point for you if you have oily lids.
I’m a little apprehensive about it now. I haven’t used it since but I think I can do some art work with it and yes for those of you who make bindis and need a stiff wand…well this is for you!
Kajal doesn’t stay on my eyes and nor does eye shadow. I wanted to give this a try but looks like I will have to search a better product! For those of you who have experience in this department then this product will leave you desiring more.

There’s another Brown Colour from the same Maybelline Liquid liner range and that is another piece of Crap as well!
Like you said it flakes like corn flakes, and most of the times it just peels off by itself.. I used to work once and by afternoon I had liner only in one eye.. Awesome na?

I own it and I hate it!! Especially the peeling part of it!!! I had applied this for work ( on the day I bought it), had a meeting, washed my face and applied compact and went on with the meeting… After the meeting I was horrified to see myself in the window glass ( tinted windows act as mirrors most of the times
It has peeled and it was looking as if it was applied on infected skin.. I don’t apply bindi as well.. I think only option is to gift it to someone I detest the most

Coz i have brick o la and sultry pink from this range..N i love it.. n this doesnt peel on me instead this leaves a nice fuchsia pink tint on me after the lippy is gone!
