Vedic Line Neem and Brahmi Face Pack Review
Hi there! I have been a fan of WiseShe for quite a period of time, and finally (THANKYOUGOD) I get to be a reviewer too! Given my nature, I probably would end up missing vital points about the product I am supposed to review, but I promise to give you guys my honest opinion about them. Before I begin, I will have to tell you that my skin is kind of weird – it is quite oily around my T-Zone, but normal otherwise. Plus, blackheads, acne and whiteheads seem to never leave me (Groan!) and I always end up getting zits when I am anxious, stressed out, or it is just plain hot outside.
My pet passion is getting brands which are more inclined towards using natural herbs (guess who loves Lush and FabIndia stuff?) and so, recently, I got this face pack online which had some of the products, so I picked up this Neem and Brahmi face pack for INR 175/-.

So my package came along about 2 weeks back, and I decided to use it to see how it was.
About Vedic Line Neem and Brahmi Face Pack
“Reduces pigmentation, acne and open pores, without feeling of dryness. Almond Oil has Vitamin E which keeps skin nourished and smooth”. Okay, so far so good.

I checked the ingredients list at the bottom, and the product has the following things –
My Take on Vedic Line Neem and Brahmi Face Pack
The package is travel friendly, and quite sturdy, so you can take this around if you make sure to close the lid tightly. I also liked the packaging because it is quite simply done. So, I opened the screw cap and lifted up the lid which keeps the product from sticking to the roof of the cap, and well, the first thing that hit me was the nice smell. It has a very definite Brahmi smell (a smell I have grown up with since ALL Bengali mothers think that their children will grow extra smart if they eat Brahmi leaves fried in ghee for lunch with rice) though it is not very strong, so those with sensitive nose can rest assured. It’s very “Ayurvedic product, Man!” smell, but I liked it.

The thing I did not like was the fact that it did not come with a spatula or something to pick up the mushy pack. I do not like packs like that, because it screams “HYEGIENE-PROBLEM”. Nevertheless, I got a coin sized amount out with the aid of my unused bleach spatula, and put all over my face before my bedtime. The pack is quite oily, but it still did not create problem for my skin. I smoothed it over my face in a thin layer, and around 20 minutes later, I washed it off and went to sleep.

Verdict:
So I have been using this for the last 2 weeks, and let me tell you, my acne problem is less. Also, though this does nothing for blackheads or whiteheads, it has actually lessened my open pore problem a bit. I will keep on using it to see how it goes, but the things look promising for now.
Pros of Vedic Line Neem and Brahmi Face Pack:-
- Has shown good results with acne
- My open pores have reduced in size (yay!)
- Package is travel friendly and sturdy
- Smells nice (okay, this is a pro for me, and it is not very strong smell, so I think people with sensitive nose can tolerate it too)
- A little goes a long way
Cons of Vedic Line Neem and Brahmi Face Pack:
- No pump dispenser or spatula to pick up the stuff
- Availability might be an issue since I am yet to see Vedic Line product in a store
- Does nothing for pigmentation, as my skin has pigmentation and this has not lightened it till now… but that might change if I use it for some more time.
Will I Repurchase Vedic Line Neem and Brahmi Face Pack?
Well, this 100 ml pack is quite big, and let’s see if I can find something better in the time it will take me to go through it. And you guys are seeing a product after I have used it for about 3-4 times in 2 weeks.
In the end, I have to say that I have slightly mixed reaction to this pack. On one hand I would say it works, on the other, it does not really work on my pigmentations much. I think oily, normal and combination skin will take to it naturally. Do not really know about women with dry skin, but I have a feeling that since this pack is quite oily, it will not be a bad product for dry skin as well.
