My neighbour came over today to ask me for some tips on makeup. She has to go for a wedding to Orissa and she doesn’t really own any good stuff so we decided to head off to Beauty Center, in Kandivali West, Mumbai. She picked up stuff from Colorbar, NYX and Maybelline. So while she was shopping at Colorbar I thought I would swatch this product for you ladies.

The range is small but I think its enough. Too many choices make life difficult. The best thing bout this product is that it glides on to your lips like a dream. You should’nt press it too hard ok it’s no tooth brush. Slight pressue is enough. If you swipe it twice or thrice then the colour will get a little darker but not too dark. I wanted to choose 002 but opted for 001 cause one of my Inglot lip colours is almost the same shade. These are sweet really. You should all have one.
My neighbour Dipti, wanted to give me something for coming out with her and I gave in to her offer after refusing it about a million times. I chose this red colour after listening to all you ladies talking about ” this red and that red”. I think it is very “SHEK SHEE” and I think I will only wear it at home in front of my husband. I’m a little conservative that way 
I was too shy to put it on my lips and show you guys too….

I’ve had a tough week with Kelly being ill with her epilepsy and a major dog rescue waiting to happen….some political connections are making it difficult to confiscate the dogs from their cruel owner. I needed a break from things and was glad that I went out. Having this chubby baby made me very happy today. Lifted my spirits…..Have a good week ladies…

What I like about Colorbar Take Me As I Am Lipcolors:-
- They are soooooooo smooooooth to apply
- They are matte but feel like pigmented lip balms
- Got some good ingredients like Shea butter and vitamin E
- It looks quite stylish to take out and apply in public (although you shouldn’t – bad manners)
- The colour can be built on
- It comes with a sharpener but unfortunately mine did’nt have one
What I don’t like about Colorbar Take Me As I Am Lipcolors:
- The PRICEEEE
- I will have to sharpen it off and on to get a sharp outline
- Will suit fair tones only

but i love the pigmentation..indeed chic red!
I liked the second and 6th one! Sensous red is pretty too, but my god, price?? Such a bummer! I cant believe its colorbar!
