I know you  gals must be wondering that Ric is lost somewhere now-a-days! Razz No review, nothing..lolz.. Sorry Sorry was too busy thinking over a good topic you  know, you  have seen my lips, my hair, my eyes So I thought its time that I flaunt my nails. Razz Presenting you, Lakme Fast & Fabulous One Stroke Nailcolor 17 Popping PINK. I like bright colors a lot as u’ll know, and Lakme has come out with some excellent, young, trendy, colourful shades which I was longing Indian companies to make from a long time. You know there was a time when LAKME used to come out with those Aunty types lipstick shades maroonish, brownish types and same was the case with their Nail polish too. I am so glad they have changed tremendously for good over the last few years. Like a LAKME MAKEOVER in itself Wink I saw this range at the beauty centre and couldn’t forget it since then. Got lucky finally to have one of it now Grin

Go glamorous with this quick drying nail paint that sets in just 40 seconds. It comes with a unique flat brush that glides effortlessly over nails to give you an immaculate finish, in just one stroke

  • Comes in 30 shades
  • Wet to Set in 40 secs
  • Unique brush for 1 stroke Application
  • Keep away from heat & flame
  • Shut cap tightly after use
  • Price: Rs. 175 for 10ml
  • Packaging: I find the packaging quite classy and sturdy. The applicator cover is in rectangular shape, but somehow I am so used to round and square applicator that this tend to slip from my hand 2-3types, but anyway there is always a first time and one learns something everyday Wink

My Experience with Lakme Fast & Fabulous One Stroke Nailcolor 17 Popping Pink:

I love the shade, it’s a very cute pink , very trendy, classy and elegant which is a perfect match to NYX SAO PAULO lipcreme or W7 lip crème in Vine or VOV Lipcreme 08. Yes, I actually kind of started comparing the nail polish with my lippy and it turned out to be “ditto” Grin The 40 secs claim is so true, usually I finish with one stroke on all my nails with other nail polishes and then wait for sometime and then go for 2nd stroke to avoid any mess. But with this, just after I finished the 1st stroke and when I dipped the applicator in the bottle moving towards the 2nd nail, I was surprised to see that 1st nail was actually fully dried up and I applied the 2nd stroke there and then again, which again dried up instantly. The only thing is 1 stroke is not enough, there is a need for 2nd application for a complete finish of the nails. The finish is not glossy, it’s a Semi glossy or matte finish, it might look glossy in the pictures because I have freshly applied them. If you ask me about the price, I think it’s a little expensive. We can easily find cheaper dupes for this shade if we do not expect 40secs dry up. Smile Otherwise I am quite happy with the result.

What I like about Lakme Fast & Fabulous One Stroke Nailcolor 17 Popping Pink:-

  • Very cute, trendy, bright pink shade
  • Dries up in 40 secs
  • Huge variety of shades to pick
  • Semi glossy finish
  • Creative packaging
  • No need to wait for 20-30mins drying up under the nail polish under the fan Razz

What I do not like about Lakme Fast & Fabulous One Stroke Nailcolor 17 Popping Pink

  • Need for 2nd stroke application
  • Pricey

Will I re purchase Lakme Fast & Fabulous One Stroke Nailcolor 17 Popping Pink

Well, not the same shade as I tend to get bored easily with the same colors, will like to try other shades for sure. I hope I get them in some good discounts Wink

          Honestly….Salma..i don give raddhi bhar ka bhav also to my nails.. they r just the way they r..,koi treat nai milti unko..i don do nythin..seriously!
          mebbe u shud try some nail hardener and strengthener from JORDANA collection.
          they r pretty good! Big Smile

    loved the color but wish they were around a price like 120-130….and not more than that…i will try them when I get discounts on these otherwise do not wish to spend 175 for a Lakme nail paint
