After en number of discussion with Zee and other friends of mine I decided to buy Remington S6500 hair straightener.My previous straightener was of Philips and I was so dissapointed with it although my Philips hair dryer is just too good and I love it to bits.

This hair straightner comes with a DVD which is a must watch. It has video tutorials by an expert which tells you how to do curls and after watching it – using it becomes super easy. After 2-3 trials I was easily able to curl my hair and hair straightening is something which I have been doing since long so I didn’t face any problem as such .
Changeable Heat Settings:-
It has ceramic plates and gets heated up with in 10 seconds only and the temperature range is of 150 to 230 degree C.For daily straightening of hair I stick to 190 to 200 degree C but when I am curling my hair I use 230.
Time In Straightening:-
It takes me about maximum of 10 minutes in going over each section to get those pin straight hair which stay for 2-3 days easily. My hair are wavy therefore don’t need much of effort in straightening but if you have curly hair then it might take you upto 15-20 minutes.

I can’t thank Zee enough for helping me out in choosing it.It is a little expensive but I take it more like an investment which will stay with me for years to come. It has become a must have for me – in fact I don’t like to do my FOTD without it now. I don’t even want to go to my gynae without using it ..lolz. Ofcourse, regular ironing and blow drying damage hair badly therefore regular use of hair mask , conditioner and hair pack is a must

Good review ..but am very happy with my Philips tresseme one and it comes with ceramic coating and 230 degree C heat settings and the other features are somewhat similar.. am just in love with that

I have this.. My aunt got it for me.. the remington straightener and the curler both…
but unfortunately the switch board had a short circuit n it got spoilt!!
my aunt said she will get it again.. this is really dat awesome as claimed by A!
its cheaper abroad and moreover they have much better quality products too

Remington is a good brand for hair straighteners. I have a Remington too, though its about 5 yrs old, it still works the way it was the very firsty day.
and I love the heat settings that it allows, so convenient and easy to use.
I love it too ..its just so far
