Chambor Eye Tattoo Liner Eye Pencil in Brown Review and EOTD
One of the things I generally dislike about brown eye pencils is that they are really not brown enough for me. My eyes, thanks to years of wearing glasses, has a brown ring around them, and generally, I have found that brown colour just does not come and stand out (if you know what I mean) for me. But, the greatest thing about this Chambor Eye Tattoo Eye Pencil is that it’s too brown… if there is a word, and that makes me love it.

So, the thing which I like about the Chambor pencil is that it’s not made of wood. I have had severe issues with using wood-based pencils, which has never worked out for me. Sad, no? But imagine wood chips trying to get inside your eyes (horror!) and you immediately panic and try to throw down the pencil. The pencil can be easily sharpened with a normal sharpener (kids, invest in a crayon/pencil sharpener the next time you think makeup… way sturdier, and hurts your pocket way less at around 14-20 rupees, instead of the drivel you get for 100-120 rupees) and it glides on super-easily, a fact I love. I dislike eye pencils that tug on my lids. Hate them, in fact. So, this is a big bonus for me. The packaging is on the other hand, boring, and the lid comes off a time or two while travelling… so well, that is a BIG problem for me. I also find the price to be slightly steep at 350/- for a pencil eye liner, but well, this is not going to be stopping me from purchasing it again.
The colour. A deep, matte, rich blackish brown. Don’t you love my hand swatch?

Okay, so, the other day I was experimenting with my eyes… and I ended up doing this to it.
I know, I know… very impromptu, and my eyes look horrible, but the upper and lower eyelid contouring has been done by my brown beauty. Get that?

Sorry, drama.
The colour lasts without smudging for around 5-6 hours on my upper eye lid easily, and around 3 hours on my lower lash waterline and has to be removed by cleansing milk as it is waterproof, otherwise it does not get off. Also, this does not create any irritation to my sensitive eyes, so that is cool too! I love the liner, especially in this boring, wet season.

revathy, you might give this one a try. I have a very dark circle all around my eyes, and this shows through despite that.
