Have you had those moments, when you’ve picked something that struck your fancy an decided to be daring..and the later realized maybe you’d been too impulsive?
When I chose this Hot Pot Shade, I was in my Coral Crazy Phase and Imagined myself in Coral from head to toes…Coral dress, coral purse coral shoes and yes..coral eyeshadow. So I told Upsi I wanted this but when I got it I chickened out! I couldn’t fathom wearing a coral eyeshadow. But I was totally enamored by the shade cause its the perfect CORAL BLUSH EVER!!…Read on to know more..
My take on Coastal Scents Hot Pot in Coral:
- Color:This shade is described as a highly pigmented eyeshadow featuring a bright coral hue with a satin finish. The eyeshadow lives up to its description and is an out of the world kinda shade..Its such a bright Coral and I don’t think anyone can ever dislike this shade.
- Price: $1.99
- Pigmentation & Texture:The pigmentation is amazing…The finger swatches are just after a single swipe! Imagine that! Its butter soft and so easy to blend…
- Staying Power: I have used this as a blush and it stays on for about 5hrs. I did wear it on my lids at home in a flight of fancy, but that was for about 3hrs after which my Hubby’s pointed looks became too much to bear and I washed it off
I’m still trying to scrape up the guts to use this as an eyeshadow…Any ideas gals? I wanted to use in first in a more subtle manner so as to get used to it…..Till then…this is like…THE MOST AMAZING CORAL BLUSH!!

Wow the frst thing that hit me is ‘this wil make such a beautiful blush’. So rightly. !! You could start using this with a brown smokey to subtly shade the inner eye and brown on outer and crease. Good luck

i try t use a tiny bit of this on my eyes but i always get so conscious..but yea, this makes for a lovely blush

I had a similar shade Purse from Aldo which was so poor in quality that in 3 months only without even regular use it got messed up
. I luv Corals. I have seen some good looks on Makeupgeek with Coral shadows. check it out! Zee, I have never shopped from Coastal Scents. How much does it cost including shipping charges etc?

CS charges shipping as per the no of products i guess…it aint a standard amount tho..
U could get the Messenger bag we saw in Westside. It was so yum!

btw pairing this wid green and brown e/s to create a nice smokey wearable look will match up wid a nice peach lehnga, having some pistachio green colored detailing, it will lloook sooo good

Hi Zara, I have seen that you do a lot of CS reviews and I am dying to get their smokey palette. How do you buy these hot pots? Since their shipping is so expensive i am guessing buying products with 2-3 others would come cheaper. Is there anyone who is buying from CS or wants to now? I want to get their smokey palette!!

I think you can use it as a very light translucent tint all over the lid. remove the extra colour with a cotton ball. It’ll actually look natural and fresh too. Use lots of Kajal/black eye liner so the eyes don’t look yellow
I donno if that happens though 
Coral lippi can make the teeth look yellow, so…
yes COral lippies do that
Those who have fair complexion face this kind of a problem a lot.

my sweetu is good. Growing up really fast! I miss the days when I had to give her bath so carefully then dry her then put on clothes so gently…. Now its like I can just put her in a bucket or bath tub and forget. Then she Walks out of the bath All by herself hahaha and then she knows where both the hands go in t shirts

How DID i miss this post ???? Zee lovely color .. this will make an awesome e/s for spl occasions.. I have a saree in in light peachy-coral color. this should suit it fab. coral+gold+brown, coral+purple / dark green, lots of khol/eyeliner , and bas you will look mast .. just a suggestion tho. I am no expert in eye make up ..
