This is officially my very first under eye product. I’ve never really fussed about eye care and only some time back started using eye drops since I’ve been using the internet excessively. I’ve always ignored eye creams and didn’t think I needed them. With all the gazillion reviews on eye creams on wiseshe, I had to join the bandwagon sooner or later
. After I got this, I began to dread the incorporation of yet another product into my already lengthy skin care routine. It took some will power to use this consistently and I have to admit there were quite a few days when I gave this a pass.

My Experience with RevAyur Under Eye Gel
- Packaging:
It comes in a small, transparent plastic tub with a white screw cap. The tub comes in an outer carton with complete product details. The packaging is leak proof and thus travel-friendly. Plus, it is small enough to fit into any purse. But as is the case with tubs, it is unhygienic and you have sanitize your hands before each use.
- Fragrance:
It smells of fresh rose water, though oddly, there is no mention of rose extracts in the ingredients. The fragrance is discernible only if you sniff the tub and cannot be sensed when applied on skin.
- Color & Consistency:
It is a clear gel that is really lightweight and smooth. It spreads easily and is completely non-greasy.

- Performance:
First of all, I don’t have dark circles. Thankfully, God spared me that one problem. But I do have many other skin issues which I’m not going to rant about here and get whacked in return
. Fine lines? Umm…not really. I mean…I have these small lines under my eyes. But I guess they’re natural. Right??
Anyways, since this eye cream is in gel form, it’s quite a treat to use. It feels cool when applied and it sinks in completely in no time. There’s no greasy after-feel but it isn’t drying either. Once the cream gets fully absorbed, skin feels really taut. It completely tones the eye contour area and this is turn makes my skin shine (yeah…toners tend to do that to me). But I always top it with powder so no issues there. Like I’d mentioned earlier, I’ve used this on and off and it’s almost been a month now. The funny thing is I don’t know what results I’m supposed to see
I have these tiny li’l bumps in my eye contour area and they’re not acne, they’re not blackheads, they’re not whiteheads, they’re nothing I know
. I was hoping this gel would make them vanish but it didn’t. But then again, the gel is not to blame since it does not claim to make mysterious what’s-it-called bumps disappear
But I’m guessing this would really help to reduce puffiness( yesss…don’t have that either. I have to count my blessings more
) since it tightens the skin when applied. It did even out my eye contour area and gave it a more toned appearance. This result was what reinforced me to continue using this eye gel.
What I like about RevAyur Under Eye Gel:
- Lightweight gel that spreads easily
- Non-greasy and gets absorbed easily
- Mild rose fragrance that is not discernible when applied on skin
- Gives cooling sensation when applied
- Skin feels taut and firm immediately after application
- Is not drying
- May help to reduce puffiness
- Tones the skin
- Suitable for both daytime and nighttime use
- Has herbal extracts
- Reasonably priced
What I don’t like about RevAyur Under Eye Gel:
- Tub packaging. Would have been nice if this came in a see-through tube instead.
Final Verdict on RevAyur Under Eye Gel:
I love that this is in gel form and not cream since it feels great on my oily skin and I enjoyed using it equally in both summer and winter. It does tone the skin, but personally, I’m not fully convinced that I require an eye cream…atleast not yet
. For those with dark circles, I would suggest you give this a try since this has aloe vera and we all know its benefits on pigmentation . Plus, it is not too highly priced
I was thinking I’ll stick to plain aloe vera gel once I’m done with this. But I have to say I find this product addictive
Rating: I will not be rating this I’m not in a position to comment on its effects on dark circles, which is what this gel is actually meant for.
