I got this solid perfume from one of the friendship  day  event which was organised on FB.I received this gift from my secret friend Smile and its  my first ever L’Occitane and also  first ever a solid perfume. If you think if I was jumping with joy on my first reaction when I saw this then sorry to disappoint u, I was NOT! I HATE ROSE PERFUMES/BODY SPRAY/ DEOS whatever u call them. I had a terrible experience with my 1st rose perfume, someone gifted me Archies rose perfume and believe me the fragrance was so pathetic that I got maddening headache since then I never got one or even go around a person who is wearing a rose perfume. I am so allergic to it. So when I saw this I Was like Why God why a rose perfume???It’s my first ever L’Occitane and why u had to do this to me…then I asked my sis to sniff it and tell me ..hows the smell?? Whether I l be able to take it or no! Then my sis sniffed it and she was like Wowwwwww… I asked her is it good?? She was like check urself and made me sniff it too.. And trust me it smelled DIVINE! Its not totally a floral fragrance but a mix of something and just perfect for me. Had it been fully like a rose scented stuff ..i would never liked it. But I came I saw I sniffed and it conquered me Razz Grin I even carried it to work everyday and showed my colleagues that see I got a L’Occitane solid perfume my 1st ever and that too it’s a gift. They all sniffed it and loved it Grin I usually apply it around the wrist and neck as and when required, now the con is that it hardly last for like 20-30mins on u and disappears . Hence , the need of re application several times a day. I carry it in my handbag, its very compact and just gets lost in my huge bag.. lol Razz And with daily usage I think the product inside is good enough to last 2-3mths. I feel the price is definitely higher as it hardly last long. But overall, I completely love it for 3 reasons – !) It’s a gift by JYO <3 (2) It’s a L’Occitaine 3) It’s a lovely solid perfume that smells Divine! Grin

What I like about L’Occitane En Provence Solid Perfume Rose 4 Reins –

  • The fragrance is divine
  • Not a typical rose scented fragrance
  • Not too strong
  • Easy to carry even in smallest handbag
  • Will Last for 2-3 months
  • Can be re applied anytime anywhere

What I dislike about L’Occitane En Provence Solid Perfume Rose 4 Reins-

  • Lasting power is poor
  • Pricier if compared to staying power
  • Availibility is only at the L’Occitane Stores
Will I re purchase L’Occitane En Provence Solid Perfume Rose 4 Reins-

I guess No! its good if u want to buy for the first timers and enjoy the concept of solid perfume . However, I am a die heart long staying perfume lover and would love something that would linger on me all day and night Smile

    I have been eyeing this one for a long time, more so because of the portability. Since I do not like using deos that much, I might get this one.
    But still, for the poor staying power, I wish it was cheaper

    Im just imagining how this must smell…sigh!!! m not a rose crazy gal either but some companies really kno how to tweak it to smell heavenly even to the most sensitive noses Smile
