Hi All,
I picked up this product last year from Ebay just for how cute it looked..It screams ‘Mermaid Fantasy!’ and looks so pretty that I caved in and got it. Another reason I got it was because it is said to be as good as MAC‘s Mineralized Skin finishes but at a fraction of the cost..And for the longest time, I did wonder what the hype over the MAC MSFs were all about and figured this was a good way to try it out without denting my pocket badly.

My take on the Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls
- Packaging: This compact looks really pretty with its mosaic pearly pattern and the pearl on the lid. The pearl on the lid though is pretty irritating since it’s the only thing that prevents it from fitting into normal drawers. Like the Happy Booster Blush and Bronzer, the compact part can be lifted to find a mirror and a brush which is quite handy.

- Color: When I saw the compact, I envisioned a nice brown bronze shade since it had various pearlescent brown shades. But on me, this looks totally like a highlighter. The brown is visible just as a very faint bronze sheen. The shimmers aren’t chunky, but on application you can notice a definite sheen to the skin.

- Pigmentation & Texture: This is well pigmented and quite soft. I like the fact that I dont have to dig and dig into the pan for it to show up…a gentle swirl is more than enough.
- Staying Power: It stays on my cheeks for about 5hrs. The effect does dim a bit after 3hrs or so, but I the glow is retained for another 2hrs easily..

I admit it wasn’t what I expected it to me. I thought it was a bronzer but it turned out to be a highlighter..hehe…But I must say that even then it doesn’t disappoint. Even as a highlighter it’s really nice and my face glows subtely when applied. Attimes, I just swirl once and brush lightly over my entire face and I love the subtle glow that it imparts. I also use it on the bridge of my nose, the high points of my cheeks and the middle of my forehead for a sleek look. For those of you who have never tried a highlighter, I’d just like to say, ‘Pls don’t underestimate its effects.’ It may not make an obvious and visual difference like blushes and contour powders, but it makes the face look sleeker, sharper and overall glowy!

What I don’t like about Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls:
- Availability is a problem since this brand isn’t available in India

ooh this looks like the Oriflame’s giordani limited edition pearls compact. Physician’s formula has such ammmazing products….if only they were easily available
I’ve seen the Oriflame one Naf..its pretty diff and gives off more color..its a true bronzer..this works more as a highlight :0 and i do agree ya….i want this brand t cm t india…afforadble and they have amazing products..

that wud be perfect na?? I have their shimmer strip wale gel liners…so soft they r..its almost a yr now and they r still not dry…super soft!
i know i have seen the review ! bus ek hi problem hai .. we cannot choose colors i guess, they pair up the colors according to your eye shade..
thats true…and in all the sets atlst 1 shade is repeated..so no sense in gettin al…
