Hi girls! Don’t you love Kajal? I know I do. I love the Kajal and the fact that I can smudge it as much as possible if I want to. The fact that I want to makes me slightly insane, I guess, but I have noted that a lot of Kajals that stay put also does not do too much good to my eyes, and they sometimes start harming my eyes, making them wet and itchy.
Not this one though. When I found myself looking at a FABINDIA kajal at the store, with the friendly storekeeper telling me about the new products that has come in, I was like – just add lipsticks and FabIndia will be truly self-sufficient. I have used some of their amazing face packs and scrubs and soaps, and I love them. This one is smudgy, but I still love it.
Without further ado, let me do a brief review of this. Check out the content first. This just looks very nice to me. Plus, the price is just too good. Only 125/- for 3 gm. which would last me at least 4 months even if I use it regularly.

I checked and this has got camphor in it (which means my eyes are really soothed and the smell is divinely camphor-y which I adore) and also shea butter and paraffin wax. However, this does not stay on my waterline for more than 2-3 hours, and then it smudges. This is, I feel, the biggest negative of this product. But, since they have not made any claims of being non-smudgy, I can’t complain, can I? The good news is, this goes away when you use soap and water, or any cleanser.
This is the picture of darkness. The packaging reminds me of another cheap brand Kajal, frankly. I was not too impressed by it. But, it is easy to locate, if that’s any consolation. Also, the package plastic BREAKS if you carry it around too much.

And now, for the hand swatch. See, it’s quite dark and colors up the deepest brown-black, and thus, looks nice on my waterline and eyes.
And here how it looks on my eyes. Caution, no makeup but the Kajal. No makeup at all.

So, I guess I like this a lot.
What I like about Fabindia Kajal With Almond Oil:-
- Nice smell
- No itchy eyes
- Soothing
- Contains Almond Oil
- Lovely black-brown color
- Quite easily applicable
- FabIndia does not do animal testing
- Removal is easy
What I don’t like about Fabindia Kajal With Almond Oil:-
- Does not stay on my waterline for more than 3 hours
- Smudges
- Packaging is cheap-looking
- Not travel-friendly at all
Verdict: 3/5
Will I Repurchase: Actually, I don’t think so. I will prefer Himalaya if this is the case.

I always read kajal reviews in the hope of finding a completely smudge free kajal, but…
… Anamika can U pls recommend any such kajal…or atleast which dont smudge for first 2hrs

Hi Prerna, smudging most of the time depends upon how watery your eyes are but some how i have found faces black eyeliner not smudging on most.
Faces, Oriflame Eye Intensity, Lakme Eyeconic and Revlon Superstay are names I can safely recommend as well. Have used all of them, and love them.

Very true Anamika, thats what the problem with me is that I have sensitive water eyes, I would try the u suggested, I have used Faces Kajal and it really good, but was looking to something better than that, since hope for the bestest product never ends,

I love Kajal always…
But smudge problem makes me worry….

there is a smudge free pretty much reasonable Kajal. actually there are more than one. Faces, Oriflame Eye Intensity, Lakme Eyeconic and Revlon Superstay .
