Have you ever smelled something that feels like all your dreams just came true? For me, when I first sniffed the Spanish Saffron Bathing Bar, it just felt like I have stumbled across one of the most amazing smells I have known for a long, long time. No exaggerations, here. I would have to say that I am in love.
What I love about Nature’s Essence is that till date, I am yet to find something that is a real dud from their considerable list of products. I have used a huge number of their products (including my favorite, the Lacto Tan Clear) and they are really good! I first came across the brand at a local store, and this jewel of a place actually stored so many of different brands, that I am totally a fan of the brand.
Now that I have gotten over the gushings, let’s move on.
So, the packaging of this bar is simple, and, the soap is a clear-red soap, reflecting the outer cardboard-like paper covering. It is about 150 gm. in weight and costs 75/-. While I know that is possibly more expensive than most others in the same range, I still think this is a great one, because the soap does not melt easily. I have been using it for a good number of days, as possibly, is my entire family (now even my dear dad smells of this, because he loves this smell too, and it is still not even halfway down. In general, we have to change soaps every 10-12 days (normal 100 gm. bars) but this one does not look like it will relent for another 10-12 days at least. The smell is strongly of Saffron, and slightly of sugar… A combination I love, adore and cherish.
The other good thing is the smell, which lingers on till about half an hour or so after my bath. And the bathroom smells of it too. Very pleasant. However, the claims about it making you fairer?? Well, no. It does not make me fair. But, it is not drying, which is a plus point. Glycerin soaps are my favorites, and this lathers up nicely, but not too much.
The key ingredients include saffron, glycerine, sugar and cucumber, and I think this is a great soap.
What I like about Nature’s Essence Spanish Saffron Bathing Bar:
- Great smell
- Does not dry out my skin
- Lasts a good time
- Easily lathers up and glides on my skin
What I don’t like about Nature’s Essence Spanish Saffron Bathing Bar:
- Does not make me fairer as claimed
Overall, this is a great product and really great as a gift for someone else too.
