Does anyone feel that the lipsticks we are buying are suddenly too heavily priced? I do. Anyway, today’s post is not about a lipstick. It is about a kajal pencil. Deborah Milano Kajal Pencil to be very precise. I bought them just before the Durga Pujas because I am going through a purple phrase and the color was priced quite all right.

My Take on Deborah Milano Kajal Shade 119:-
Well, truth be told, though the sites list this color as purple, this is more of an eggplant-blue shade, bordering on blue, with micro-glitters. The color is lovely, and I have used it over my top lid and lash line and suffered from no problems. I have sensitive eyes, and can be smudged easily to create a lovely smoked-out look. The packaging is simple, with a silver-white cap and blue-black body with Deborah Milano stamped on it. The color is not very heavily or very lightly pigmented. I have used the color and it does not tug or pull on my eyelids, and sets on my slightly watery lash line quite easily. I have noted that I need to put two strokes on my upper eyelids to make tis color stick properly. There are micro-glitters, but they are not over the top at all. I would have to say that I find this more easy to use than my Nyx pencils.
Deborah Milano Kajal Shade 119 Swatches:-
I like the color quite a lot, since it sits well on my eyes, and stays about 3-5 hours on my lash line, depending on the weather. Since the weather has cooled down considerably, the color lasts about 4 hours, nearly 5, depending on my stress level. However, this smudges a bit, but not as much as regular kajal. The kajal is easy to remove with the aid of a bit of cleanser, and works quite easily on me. On my top lids, it has stayed for about 7-8 hours, so I am good with the staying power.
I have also seen other colors from this range, and am interested in trying them out. The ingredient list shows that this contains Ethylparaben, so if you are a hater, stay away. I love using this with black mascara a lot, and generally for a very casual look only use this to line my eyes. Also, my pet peeve- I have to sharpen it, which takes away from the pleasure of using this.
