Hey people! So yes, the Faces craving continues, and this time it’s the turn of the eyeliner. I absolutely adore green color, and I believe it is one of the most wearable shades on Indian skin. The color is definitely a beautiful one and it does represent the spring quite aptly. The range is available in two different, wearable shades. Today, I am going to review Emerald Dazzle, which is a gorgeous shade of glittery emerald green.

My experience with Faces Ultime Pro Shine on Eyeliner Emerald Dazzle:
Dear readers, I know you guys are wondering why I am going on waxing lyrical about this particular shade, but let me tell you, it is definitely worth raving about. First of all, the packaging is really cute and travel-friendly because unlike my Inglot eye liner, I do not have to search for this much… the color of the packaging makes this stand out easily. The long, sturdy handle makes it very easy for me to pick up and use it on my eyelids. Once opened, the long felt tip is easy to work with, and I generally line my upper eyelids with it, after kohling my eyes black. I love the dual-effect. However, I can also wear it solo (like I have done in the picture, and used a subdued eye pencil on the waterline to really show off the color. It is not an out and out neon color, and it does not scream out unlike the neon colors of most other brands despite the glitters. I have known people who have issues with felt tip though, so if that is not your thing, then don’t use it. Personally, I like mine and one stroke gives me adequate color that shows up on my eyelids.
It does give my eyes that extra bit of depth, and also gives them a little pop of color. Although this range is quite expensive, and quite at par with Inglot’s range of eye colors, I dare say that the color actually is quite worth the price for me. It really sets in fast, so I don’t have to wait for minutes for this to dry up. That is a great bonus for someone like me who is always on the run.
Faces Ultime Pro Shine on Eyeliner Emerald Dazzle Swatches:-
The claim that it is smudge-proof is true. I have used this with or without eye primer, and it does stay on my oily eyelids for about 6-8 hours easily without any signs of fading. I have also tried it on my waterline, and I dare say it does not sting me there (can you imagine the amount of pain I might have gone through if that happened? The things I do for you, readers!). However, the color is not fully waterproof. I have washed this out with water, and though I will not advise it, as the glitters stick to the eyelids if you do, it does get washed off with water if you rub hard enough.
What I like about Faces Ultime Pro Shine on Eyeliner Emerald Dazzle:-
- Nice, easy to use package
- Great color
- Dries up easy
- Stays on for 6-7 hours
- Does not smudge
- Does not sting my eyes
What I don’t like about Faces Ultime Pro Shine on Eyeliner Emerald Dazzle:-
- Not totally waterproof
- Needs to be taken off with makeup remover
Verdict: Overall, I think, albeit pricey, this range is worth dipping into, and checking out.
