I love Maybelline! And when you find foreign Maybelline stuff at Snapdeal.com, you are immediately seized by the desire to SHOPSHOPSHOP from them and buy a few things. So what that they gave you Nonstop Red instead of the Ravishing Rouge you ordered? At least this one was right what you wanted?
Presenting Maybelline 10-Hour Gloss Stain in Fresh Fuchsia, one of the colors from the range.

My take on Maybelline 10-Hour Gloss Stain Fresh Fuchsia:
These lovely gloss stains were launched in January 2012, and it has been loved or hated by most reviewers, and I will agree with them. The product comes in a white package with the color of the gloss stain the same as the cap. In my case it’s a lovely shade of purplish berry which is easy to find. I hate the fact that the name of the product is so tiny that I actually had to take a photograph of it and then enlarge it to see the name. The stain itself is very travel-friendly and fits in my purse easily. The applicator is funny looking, a longish oval one with a little hole in the center. It picks up a fair amount of product in one go.
The color is a semi-opaque fuchsia when you first apply it, and can be made opaque by applying correctly, darkening slightly in a bit. It does not bleed or flake. It is very buildable and creamy, and slightly reminds me of MAC Rebel lipstick, but in a stain form. Within 10 minutes of application, the color settles down and goes from being glossy to quite stain-like, and darker, richer, which makes this a good color for those who want a long-lasting, slightly matted out thing on their lips. The lip swatches taken were all after an hour of application to show you the longevity and beauty of the color itself while the hand swatch was taken immediately after application.
Maybelline 10-Hour Gloss Stain Fresh Fuchsia Swatches:-
Although it definitely does not last till 10 hours on my lips, without eating and drinking the color lasts for about 6 hours, with some fading. I generally refresh after every 3 hours, just to be on the safe side. The color is not drying, and I have seen that on dry-lipped girls wearing a bit of balm after a couple of hours fix the problem of drying lips in a jiffy.
What I like about Maybelline 10-Hour Gloss Stain Fresh Fuchsia:
- Nice berry color
- Great applicator
- Lasts a long time
- Does not bleed
What I dont like about Maybelline 10-Hour Gloss Stain Fresh Fuchsia:
- May not be too good for dry lipped beauties
- Fades unevenly
- Availability is limited
I have to say, I love the color. Try it and tell me how it is!
